Saitama's face IS hard to draw due to its simplicity. It doesn't fit standard face structure so artists can't rely on traditional methods. Murata had trouble drawing the face initially too. As did the animators for season 1; so much so that Murata had to teach them classes on drawing One Punch Man

As perfect as the animation is for OPM, the manga does a lot of the action scenes better. It's just unbelievable.

One punch man was the first anime I ever watched and I didn’t touch anything else Japanese for years. I would fully suggest reading the manga or watching the show (the English version is very good in my opinion, if you can find it).
Yusuke is a total drawing pro. You can see in the manga how he puts so much detail in all the characters despite the fact that it is a manga, and you don’t even need to put much shadows.
It's great to see the strength and confidence of his strokes. I will practice this more. I usually have a hesitation to my strokes which makes them really shaky. From now on, Murata is my sensei

In an interview he said that the hardest part of opm was drawing saitamas face, because It was so simple that the minimum error would be a lot noticeable
this is why i like drawings it starts of a sketchy part then the highlight parts its really satisfying when you highlight the drawing and make an improvement (im also an artist)
I can imagine how good a manga would look if all of the artists for berserk and one punch man combined and worked slow and drawing the best they can on every page just how good that it would look.

It's because he's trying to make it close to the original webcomic in his art style as at the end of the day it's still following the webcomic no matter how much new stuff is added to the Manga.
I was panicking on how much this dude draws. He literally finished bang vs furr ugly and gums in 1 week with so much detail. I was like "wtf is he not gonna rest?, he's gonna finish a whole volume in a month". And when 1 week passed I was relieved when there wasn't another chapter. I was thinking he'd better be resting. And then the next week ANOTHER CHAPTER RELEASES. LIKE HOW?!!. SO MUCH DETAIL. But after I heard he said that he passed out while drawing I said "yea that's right, you better rest, no more chapters in 2 weeks". Or else I'll kill myself.

Adrian Max Tbh you get used to ONE’s... err... « artstyle ». It’s not good by any means, but I think it’s part of the charm of reading Mob Psycho 100. He also improved _a lot_ between the first and last chapters. But the anime made a great job adapting the manga’s drawings to something nice to look out while keeping the distinctive « art style ».
What says you just can't read ONE's original manga? I know his art style seems ugly, but I think it has a certain charm. He's great at composition and portraying emotions. Plus he's improved a lot by the end of it. Just cause it doesn't abide by the usual aesthetic standarts doesn't mean it can't be enjoyable. So just go for it!

Everytime yusuke erases some part, I was like "what? It already looks great!" Well you can't argue with a pro artist, they'll know when it is right.
It's not necessarily that the art was bad. It has more to do with the end product in mind and how it's portrayed to the reader.
Every artist is always a self critic. Some perfectionist can't really embrace the "little happy accidents" on their work; they're too careful.
