This is easily the greatest example of technical mastery of the drums to exist on TH-cam. The astonishing complexity combined with the musicality is unmatched. I get literal goose bumps watching this, and I’ve already seen it multiple times. He is not human.

THB tho, in "demos" like this, the music carries him. Its a whole other ballgame when u have to carry the music urself, and imo he has some issues with rushing ... just saying ... not taking anything from his superior skills.

True art takes time to perfect a song for live is more than knowing the chord or a beat but placement and time to compose it....

@@alexbarham6606 I've never understood the fixation on reading and writing music. I bet he can write exactly how he plays, just not in classic notation. He is very creative in his covers. I'm looking forward to seeing what he does with a blank slate with his new band.

Siberiano is a beast 1000. I put him up there with Thomas Lang. They both do stuff I don't see anyone else doing and each of their styles are unique. Much props. Great contributors to the drum community. Great reaction man and congrats on your deal. Hope it goes far.
apart from his amazing playing .. just how good dose his kit sound.. i mean wow just wow how well is it mic'd and mix'd...he is truly amazing the amount of limb dexterity and independance he has is unreal.

You can hear it from his older stuff. His gear, and his new audio sponsor stuff is legit. On top of ALL that, he has developed his sound and does less "unattractive" stuff he did earlier on, like overplaying the lyrics, etc. Look at how he lets Em shine during his fast parts, and then joins him at the end and then runs it out? He elevates the whole thing.
I commented this same thing in another video. Wanted to give mad props on how tuned and mic’d that kit is. It sounds amazing!!!

You know what i love about this? There's a 12 yr old watching this, and is going to be better then all of us in 6 yrs.
Ok so I've been watching EES for a few years now and after each time watching him I always end up asking myself, "Is he the best drummer to have ever played the drums?". The answer has always been "No." and I usually end up going through a list in my head of drummers that are superior to El Este in one area or another. That list is getting extremely short. Hoglan, Peart, Reinhart ,Haake, Copeland, Greb, Carrey, Portnoy, Eloy, Brooks, Greyson, Rich, Bonham.....All people who are or have been on that list. Honestly, there's not one drummer at this point I enjoy listening to or am constantly in complete awe of as much as El Estepario Siberiano. He always does something that leaves going "How is that possible and is this guy an alien?".
