Can I play this game without playing the series in order?
Atelier games are separated into arcs with similar names. Sophie, Firis, Lydie and Suelle, and Sophie 2 are part of the mysterious arc. Atelier Ryza trilogy is the Secret arc. Yumia is a new arc that shouldn't have any story connection to previous series.
Like the Final Fantasy franchise you do not have to play them in any order.(unlike FFX-FFX2)

there is a Atelier gotcha game but this isn't it. I think it actually got shut down because of how bad it was. This is an offline stand alone story
Yumia has the free Space, what i wished me since long for all the others Girls too, there i feel is much fun to play it.

Koei temco is from japan. Koei tecmo just built branch company in several country like USA and taiwan. Beside chinese make mobile games. This one is offline game

@@Epicxvi Yeah true but don't forget atelier is long franchise from 1997. Like tales series from 1995. Japan has long experience to make good game. But chinese in past few year also draw attention with their mobile games. That way chinese games is popular for young generation

games from china are stuck in zelda BOW grapchics, all of them, the music is shit,stories are shit, gamplay meh, they just sell waifus, atelier games are not big budgets, and the games dont sell millions, are good games but, people always want AAA grapchics, than again chinese games looks all the same, and just are copies from the great JRPG , like Final Fantasy, Tales of etc, new players are blind and lost, one guy once said "This game atelier yumia, should be free". and i said why?, this is not a shit from hoyoverse, i was playing wuthering waves and honkai and these games are a big meh, nothing special there.

Huh!? Where are u when there are good Japanese games in previous years!? For example tales of arise or other atelier series and scarlet nexus and more .. they've different styles that didn't hurt Ur eyes with too much light ..idk which type of graphics u want!? Even the recent Ys game is good for me so no need to be racist or angry about that ,let's respect games developers from Japan and China and everywhere,just play games and enjoy.
