If you are asking about the last past of the tutorial, sweep node has an option just to generates a profile of a tube so you don't have to do it manually for most basic shapes. We don't necessarily copy we just use merge node were we can wire in an infinite amount of nodes in and it will visualize it together as one object.

and how do you copy the line or tube of inside vertex to vertex with the tube full of holes.?
