I was just writing about this plane should come with a back door and a parachute.. something.. and flaps floats.. and maybe an extra propeller with the airplane.. because you know I love landing on concrete with my timbers.. I'm working on prop number 5...ok I'm quite sensitive about this...lmao... This company does not point disappoint..
Perfect! A military twin I can fly strictly scale maneuvers, or knock around the sky for pure enjoyment, not really having to worry about a flight mistake resulting in an explosion of balsa, plywood and monokote! What’s more - it comes with skis, so I can still fly a twin in the winter! Perfect!
Better late than never. Have always had a few Twin Stars and MTDs in my fleet over the years so will pick up one of then. Cudos for doing counter rotating props and getting them the correct direction! This really looks like it flys similar to my Twin* on wheels.
Nicely presented and filmed. Loved the scale vehicles around the aircraft. Send one over here & we can try the ski operation.... it’s cold enough with snow in the mountains lol. Great aircraft. well done HH
Hey Jason, It’s nice that Horizon continues to introduce new aircraft to the market, but what makes a plane like the EC-1500 desirable are scale details! Clear windows, retracts, etc...this plane looks like the V22 Osprey offered by Banana...foam and decals....look at the scale features on the Flightline B24, a good example of scale details. Not a foam mold with decals. Even Avios has stepped up with their C-130 and their latest released MiG 17. So many scale details=desirability. Small foamies do not need the detail, when you get into the larger scale foam birds detail is everything. Thanks for your work.
i wish you would make small / mid size scale ga aircraft like the beaver 25e and super cub 25e , foam planes are fun but you used to have high quality arfs , sorry you don't make them anymore e-flite.

I do not mean to be disrespectful but why doesn't HH release their new products when they actually have them available for fliers to buy? Maybe that is the way things are done these days? The livery is reminiscent US Coast Guard aircraft during the early-1960s. Some aircraft were repainted in historical liveries for CG aviation's 100th year anniversary in 2016. I don't believe any of the HC-27 Spartans were repainted in for the anniversary. It has taken about three years for CG Air Station Sacramento to get their HC-27s repainted from the DoD gray to current livery. I would have new decals printed for a more realistic CG aircraft, but would keep the basic scheme as a could-have-been HC-27 in anniversary livery. I would have decals with US Coast Guard in the proper font. Blocked and slashed font is wrong. But this is a pretty cool-looking and flying model. I'd rig up MA-1 and MA-10 survival and a dewatering pump can with chute packages to drop, as I did as a dropmaster on CG HC-130s for 18 years. I miss those days.

I would not have guessed it didn't have retracts. I own the C130 from HK and yeah the retracts go up and down so little it is the same in the air. Just looks good on the ground with the sequencer.

Hey Jon! You should look into purchasing Real Flight 9. This is a simulator that will teach you how to fly!
Get real flight 9.5 don't make the mistake of trying to fly an rc plane without any experience.

The power systems are 3S and 4S compatible only (6S is too much voltage).
