    Just subscribed, love the look with the 37s. I bought a Red Launch Edition 5 months ago and still not sure with tires and lift, but your 37s have me thinking now.

      We are gonna wait for AEV to bring their 2" to market before we make up our mind. I have done very little articulating but have had 0 rubbing so far. However we haven't done anything with the sawybar disconnected.

      @@ResurrectedMotorSports I ended up doing 2” lift with 35” and regret due to large space in wheel well. I’m looking at getting 37s soon.

    New subscriber 😊. Just got a 2022 Gladiator Rubicon with the manual. Have 35's with a 2.5 inch leveling kit. We are on the fence going with 37's til I found your video. Do you still hit 6th gear on the flats or are you stuck in 5th most of the time. Also have you towed anything since u got them, and I if so how did that work out. We have a 2800 lb camper we are planning on towing. Appr the video and any advice and info. Thanks 😊 👍

      6th was pretty much useless. Never did tow. I sold it and am actually looking for an auto possibly diesel Rubicon now.

    Looks great.
    I have 37X12.5 17 with my 17X9.0 Offset -12 .
    Just waiting for "touch down" this week.
    Have a 2.5 inch spacer ReadyLift also waiting but the rims and tires will go on first.

      Thanks, we are gonna wait and see what the AEV lift looks like before deciding on a lift.

      Hemi Dave same setup I’m going with. If you’re throwing the wheels and tires on first , let me know how the clearance is at full lock with stock Rubi suspension. I’ve been waiting to order wheels/tires until I could afford to throw in a 2.5 spacer lift on top of it, but if a lift isn’t needed immediately I’ll throw the 37s on and wait to pay that lift labor!

      Resurrected MotorSports Great to know, it’s crazy how small even the 35s look on the JT. 37s are basically a must, just for aesthetics. Thanks for the video and info

    Very informative video. Have a few questions. I have a Gladiator Rubicon on order. I ordered it with the 6spd manual trans but recently was told that the manual performs very poorly with oversized tires. I'm planning on a Rock Krawler 3.0" lift and 37s, figured the Rubicon 4.10s would be adequate. My questions are have you seen any significant power/performance loss with the 37s? Any computer/electrical issues? I've read there are steps you have to take to get the computer to recognize the tire size. I'm actually trying to get my order changed to the auto trans, since it is still waiting to be scheduled for build, but know that it may not be possible. Thanks

    • @ResurrectedMotorSports
      @ResurrectedMotorSports  4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      You will notice a small amount of power loss from the 33" to 37" tire. Off road I am hoping that low range will be able to offset that. You will need to have the dealership flash in your new tire size or buy a device such as the procal or Tazer JL.

    • @JTRSpartacus
      @JTRSpartacus 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Just did this with my Rubi manual. Definitely some power loss but not terrible. Used Tazer to reset/relearn. Getting 14.5mpgs now was getting almost 16. #JTRSPARTACUS

    Wish we could have seen some more vid of the way the tires look and sit and what offset you have. Also, would be nice to know if there was any rubbing at full lock. Did the spare 37 fit underneath? Just info that I think we were looking for

      @ResurrectedMotorSports  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No rubbing at full lock. Wheel info is in the description. Feel free to check out my latest video Vagabond Vault. It has some video from different angles. And finally yes the spare fit underneath with about 5 psi in it.

  • @SOLDADITO76
    @SOLDADITO76 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    The Gladiator is already having recalls on transmissions, strap your boots on. This vehicle just came out this year and so far not a good sign.
    Nothing wrong with tire noise, specially if you drive off road and need the traction. Mall crawlers and pavement pounders don’t need aggressive tires.

    • @SOLDADITO76

      I heard the clutches were failing under normal use and getting to hot, and in some cases at highway speeds to were they fuse to the flywhee leaving people strandedl. Just throwing it out there... I know I have put my clutch through hell in my Yota at times off roading.
