I discovered today while descaling that you can't scroll to the "clean" that is lit up but when you are scrolling it will say just pod or espresso without any size options. That is when you push start/stop and the "clean" light will start blinking. Water will come out then. After is is done it will automatically go to hot water and steam and you push start/stop again and water will come through the wand. Clean light finally disappeared after I did that!
This video is wrong and the instruction manual is not very clear. First off, the "clean" indicator shown in this video is for the single brew side. The "clean" indicator for the 12 cup side is above the push buttons. To properly clean the single side, fill your reservoir as stated and place your mug on the drip tray with the steamer wand in it. You don't need two cups. The instructions say rotate your start/stop knob to clean but you can't. What you do is rotate it till espresso, pod & clean are lit but nothing else, no cups or numbers or anything. Push the knob and it will start the clean cycle like described in the instructions. It will stop once. You can dump your mug and now hot water & steam will be illuminated. Push the start/stop button again and it will finish the cycle. It will only do this if the "clean" light is illuminated in the bottom.
My instructions say to rotate the knob for the single serve side until the clean option appears. It never does. So it’s not an available option or choice, evidently the word clean only appears when it automatically decides the single serve side needs descaling. So thank you just a Dad for your manual instructions, I got a lot of residue out of the espresso function using your instructions, and I’m sure my single serve pod and hot water functions are well descaled too!
Does anybody know how to use the auto off feature? I have tried using it several different ways without any luck. I have tried setting it after brewing with the warm light still on, I turned the knob to auto off, set the time, and the display says auto off. but after about 30 minutes, the display no longer says auto off and the warming plate stops. What am I doing wrong?
Once you set the auto off time it stays that way indefinitely. Unless you change it again. If you try changing it right after you brew coffee you will turn off the warming plate. I set mine to 4 hours and it turns off every day after 4 hours. You set it once and you’re good. Hope this helps!

This works. The clean light will fade in and out telling you it's the right cycle

00:34 is not the 12 cup side, it is the single cup side. 12 cup light is the upper display section as you mention in 04:04.
The clean light can be selected once the machine tells you it needs a cleaning.
I’ve done the cleaning for the k cup and espresso side but the clean light is still on at the bottom. How do I get that to go away?
