Dear Dr.John Campbell, thank you so very much for your daily world updates. I especially appreciate your evidence-based research reporting. You are calm and compassionate and respectfully apolitical. A breath of fresh air during these troubled times. Thank you. I have been watching since December 2019. I am so thankful for you. I am sending love and hugs from Washington state, USA, Jeanne of In Loving Hands Counseling and ASMR.

@@nicolapegg6429 thank you he is stable and recovering but a frightening week in the icu. So terrible to see such a young person get so sick. I hope they figure this out so we can mitigate whatever this is. Thank God for all the wonderful doctors , scientists, and staff, who are working hard on this.
Dr. Campbell, (time stamp 22:25) please know that you are doing a great service to those of us who did not major in biology or are medically trained. I greatly appreciated your explanations of the medical/biological terminology. By “dumbing it down” there is a much better understanding of the human anatomy and the virus and what the virus is doing. Excellent teaching skills! I have learned more biology/microbiology over the last 3 months than in my all my adult lifetime. Thank you for all that you do. When one tells a child to eat their vegetables because they are good for them, it is possible to make that argument relatable so the child grows up “UNDERSTANDING” the importance not just “knowing” its importance “because I said so!”
Dearest Dr. Campbell, My husband and I watch you every day and totally trust your updates. This is quite a compliment when it seems all our leaders seem to either not know - or not tell us - what is actually going on. You are so knowledgeable and have such a charming personality, it makes learning about such a pandemic actually comforting for someone like myself as I am prone to depression and anxiety attacks. You are so gifted, loved and admired by so many, including me. Thank you for also presenting the photos that have been submitted to you as it makes me feel - in this isolated time - that I have a large group of family members watching with me. May God bless you richly , sir, for your compassion and knowledge!!
I heard rumors that you want to make fewer videos. That is so sad. You have become part of my daily routine in quarantine. I'm 79 and have a few co morbidities. Your talks of vitamin D convinced me to take it daily. I really enjoy your videos and will miss them if they are less regular. People probably aren't tired of you but just tired of COVID19. Don't take it personally.
Thank you John. I have shared this with my son and daughter-in-law to keep an eye out in case my grandkids get sick. They are from New York City and are staying in Connecticut until God knows when.

HI I think its due to a copper deficiency. A chronic copper deficiency caused by the disease. This causes a systemic down regulation of anti-inflammatories SOD and BDH and an up regulation of pro-inflammatories associated with copper deficiency - this will also control iron mediated oxygen regulation At the same time a depletion of lysyl Oxidases mediated repair of elastin (via fibulin 5.) in the blood vessels with copper depletion. the virus attacks the copper mediated immune system. In adults who have a greater copper deficiency - the virus can home in on the lungs and blood vessels immediately but in children the effect is to erode the whole system defended by copper enzymes. This virus first evolved in Hubei around a copper smelter - so it learned these tricks.
I think this becomes more important when vaccinations are ready. It can be kids may overreact to vaccines as well. So maybe it would be better if only adults get vaccines.
This interview with Dr Jack Kruse from US explained very well about this syndrome, sunlight, Vitamin D connection w C19 Very important message unfortunately the original channel doesn't have many views th-cam.com/video/Wp7Dm2NJgmg/w-d-xo.html
We would like to know their vitamin D levels, as we know that vitamin D plays a modulating role in acute, autoimmune responses, and also elicits response to both viral and bacterial infections, by activation of the immune system to offer both lysis and inhibition of viral replication.
Apparently it's similar to Kawasaki disease ..I hope the medics can get to the bottom of this as soon as possible And learn how to prevent and treat it..I so dislike the thought of children becoming Ill.
This is what I read up on it myself . www.thailandmedical.news/news/must-read-covid-19-alerts-children-are-at-high-risk-for-critical-complications-and-death-from-covid-19
Corrienne Wynne Strong but 80% of those children had underlying conditions which is what I suspected - these kids had underlying conditions which Linley made their body react that way
Yes, weeks ago when I heard/saw "Covid toes" I thought that reminded me of KD. My son had that in 1996 shortly after his 5th birthday . He was given iv immunoglobulin and recovered with no negative effects. But he was monitored for a year with echocardiograms and weekly then monthly blood tests. At the time his pediatrician said it was neither viral or bacterial and "they" didn't know what caused it. There were some commonalities among those affected, but not all. Afterward an infectious disease dr at a teaching hospital was beginning to do testing on recovered children, but logistically, we couldn't participate.
All the time they try linking it directly with civid19 there is little chance they will get to the bottom of it, in my opinion. There are changes in their lives because of coronavirus, it is more than likely these changes that are the cause of their abnormal immune response.
Web-MD says: Kawasaki disease is an illness that causes inflammation (swelling and redness) in blood vessels throughout the body. It happens in three phases, and a lasting fever usually is the first sign. The condition most often affects kids younger than 5 years old. Symptoms: Lymphadenopathy; Fever Scientists haven't found an exact cause for Kawasaki disease. It might be linked to genes, viruses, bacteria, and other things in the world around a child, such as chemicals and irritants.
What a nightmare this has been for all of us. Tired now! It has effected three members of my family, including me. Thank you for the update Dr Campbell, only video I listen too about it.
Dr John your voice and advice to me is like having a reassuring dad, my mum and dad died when I was young, even tho I am an adult I still get frightened,I play your videos back to back too sleep because I am so scared about this covid 19 🥺
Dr. Campbell, it's good that you are using and explaining medical terminology. People need to understand terminology they may be seeing or hearing elsewhere without the explanation or which they think they know the meaning of, but may actually not know. We've had 1 documented case of this syndrome to date in Oregon. Thankfully, the child has survived.
That makes you breaking the law, your kid is supposed to get an education (at least till they are 18 y. old). "leerplicht" I oppose this (back to school) from the point of vieuw that children may not get sick a lot, but they DO spread the virus just like adults (they found it in kids excrement for weeks after they got infected). So we are releasing small typhoid Mary's everywhere.... we might as well lift this lock-down for everyone! Remember: they did not pull kids out of school to protect the children, it was to stop the productive adults (parents) infecting each other and by dying making the economy suffer longterm.. We can always make more kids/ the overpopulation of this planet proves that. Trained workers are far harder to replace.
Thank you for all you extremely illuminating videos. I'm positive you have saved many lives John certainly mine. Your advice and truth is vital and helps one sort out the lies and propaganda from various governments. I thank you from the bottom of my still functioning heart. You are a true hero. Much respect. Yours Respectfully, Joseph Finucane.
At the end of February we had to take our seven year old son to A&E after over three weeks of being poorly. He seemed to improve and then went down hill suddenly, culminating in a rash which didn't pass the tumbler test, meningitis was suspected and he was put into isolation... it was decided it wasn't meningitis thankfully, but I think even then they suspected covid-19. He had, at differing points pretty much all of the symptoms of covid and/or this syndrome, when asked if we had been in contact with anyone who had been either abroad or via a third party, we said no, we later found out that we had actually, we just didn't know it at the time!
@@inga1721 honestly I don't know, he was on penicillin for a period of time for bacterial infection of the throat, which was a result of whatever virus/viruses he'd had. It took a while after hospital visit to get back to some semblance of normal. I too was ill at the beginning but just fever, sore throat etc, but again my cough hasn't gone, my chest is 'uncomfortable' and I still have on/off shoulder pain 😐 I'd like my family to have the antibody test and get us all a medical MOT, Just to make sure
It’s fascinating how much other medical knowledge I get taught while watching these videos. Your a great teacher doctor, I envy your students, but I feel I’m starting to be one. 😉🇨🇦👍
I agree - his description of vasoconstriction and dilation (and why it happens) with the garden hose analogy was so simple yet made perfect sense, and made it easy to understand why the body does what it does to raise or lower blood pressure. I've heard it explained before, but always in more complex or confusing ways; whereas this made it really easy to understand. If I ever thought about medical school, I'd definitely want Dr. Campbell as a teacher!
@@skyhawk_4526 Actually, Dr. John's profile says: My name is John Campbell and I am a retired Nurse Teacher and A and E nurse based in England. I also do some teaching in Asia and Africa when time permits. These videos are to help students to learn the background to all forms of health care. My PhD focused on the development of open learning resources for nurses nationally and internationally.
Jibbie49 so I guess that means he is a Doctor of teaching Nurse’s. He is very good at what he does, and is informative and educated. He is not a Doctor of medicinal like your family doctor, but he sure is smart enough for me to value his opinion. 🖖

He said anxiety is not warranted, but if you see symptoms in your child, be very suspicious of what's happening and seek professional medical advice as this isn't a condition that can be treated at home.
Sounds like Chronic reginal pain syndrome or Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy it's rare in Children under 10 and can reappear later In life.Millions world wide have this syndrom. The symptoms match every covid syndrome. They cant come to any conclusion what causes it. It's the most painful syndrome with a very high suicide rate.
Thank you, Dr. John. I am a home sewer and have been busy making adult masks and PPE’s. Lately I have had a strange hunch to start making lots of children’s masks, as many and quickly as possible. The children need to be protected, too.
I know 3 different people hospitalised around October 2 with pneumonia and one with non TB. At the time I was scratching my head like WTF is going on. It was also the time vaping lung thing was going on in the US.
Emailed my MP yesterday on your Vitamin D update . Please read content of response. There have been several bits of research that point to vitamin D helping. In one the researchers also found a strong correlation between low vitamin D levels and the cytokine storm response, a hyper-inflammatory condition caused by an overactive immune system, seen among some coronavirus patients. In another a correlation has been seen between those who survive covid 19 and those with better vitamin D levels. The good news is we are learning more about the disease and how to fight it.
C D there was a study that compared the country with the highest covid death to the country with the lowest covid deaths and vitamin D Blood levels. They found a reverse correlation. th-cam.com/video/rGfWo8q2i-k/w-d-xo.html Link to the study included.
I find it soooo interesting when dr John explains the terms and conditions in plain English! Thank you for doing that and educating us on the body. Love it!
I honestly don't believe that anyone will recover from the virus, or the syndrome, without ill effects. This thing damages organs, and there will be scarring, and residual damage, at best.
Thanks John for all you do! I started listening based on the recommendation of a friend and now I count on your daily updates for sound, non-political information on this disease. Keep up the good work!
It might be seen in a minority of children right now, but what about the future? As it appears to be a delayed reaction I predict many more cases will become apparent into the future.
The virus has been here since November/December Exactly how "delayed" is it? This is fearmongering. The Kawasaki cases are below the 20 year average. There's no correlation to Covid. Wishful thinking for lefties, nothing more.
I can't thank you enough Dr. John for taking so much of your time to teach us! I find this exceptional! You're of the highest character Dr. John. Please ignore the grumpy people. Keep up with the excellent job of informing us! I now take vitamin D3 125mcg daily. I appreciate you so much!!!
@Dr John Campbell There was a report o BBC a few weeks ago regarding children from Dr Bharat Pankania University of Exeter Medical School. He spoke about children saying that their immune system was going into mass overdrive and causing problems. Not sure if this is something that there is a paper written on yet but it was a brief BBC report a few weeks ago so no doubt easy enough for you to find.
Kawasaki it's a side offect listed in vaccine leaflets like here page 4 www.medicines.org.uk/emc/files/pil.5168.pdf in USA you have about 15 cases of this A DAY (as for year 2009)
Hello Dr John.. i have been watching you since the start of February and your advice has been invaluable! I am a reception teacher in UK and would love to hear your views on schools re-opening. Unfortunately logistically we are not getting much guidance from the government :(
Just a random comment here. Over a month ago I did read something along the line that this was more serious than what it was presented to be. It was not I believe what you would call reliable source. But you know what, let’s not become complacent about this virus and it’s related complications. I believe that we are all responsible for ourselves and our immediate family’s health.
There are four - FOUR copies of GP41 - the protein sequence that HIV uses to attack human cells in CCP19 - the chances of this happening in a naturally occuring
?? Don’t most viral infection have lingering and varying possibilities of: syndromes, chronic issues and damage that sometimes don’t show up for quite awhile? I wonder how many lifetime after effects never are connected to past viral infection!?!
Some human Coronaviruses (colds) have been indicated as possible risk factors in meningitis in young children, with a chance that the meningococcus find an easier path due to the infection. Hpv , Hiv ,syphilis are already among the risk factors in many type of cancer. I've been diagnosed with hodgkin lynphoma in 2015 , currently on 4 years remission, my Lynphonodus were swollen and Doctors tested me for almost every current or past infection on first hospitalization , but thank god i was at least free from those (they explained that lot of people get recovered and they often have hiv and lymphoma/cancer caused from it. When i asked them why was i sick , if it was to my moderate drinking/smoking (4 cigs per day) or else , they said that my blood/organs showed no signs of any damage due to that ( and in that case the lesion would have probably be the cause of my disease ) and so the only factor risk they found, except living in a crowded/polluted city , was that i had mononucleosis antibodies indicating a previous infection. i had also little tbc antibodies reactivity but that was probably due to vaccination. mononucleosis is supposed to hit around 80/90% of young population but i guess in a real minority of cases it can be the startup of cancer evil company.
Michele Remember with Chickenpox there is shingles later in life. And vitamin D has a critical role in diminishing the onset. So lifelong Vitamin D3 therapy is essential!
Probably trying trying to cover all the bases to avoid having the usual daily dose of nit-pickers analyze his every word, pronunciation, accent, facial expression, handwriting for god's sake.
Thank you so much for going through this syndrome. My nephew got very sick early this year and was in ICU for weeks. They had a really hard time deciding what it was. They decided on septic shock and toxic shock syndrome. He already has immune issues and gets ivig on a semi regular basis. I REALLY feel like this is what he had. They couldn't figure out where he got what he got that caused this so they blamed it on a scratch. Scratches from animals can cause issues with kids with his issues, but this was extreme in my opinion. He's 12 years old and was at Boston children's hospital. He's doing well now and wears the masks I made him everywhere he goes but we still all worry. I'm hopeful they will look at previous cases and not just current cases. I've worried about him with this COVID19 to begin with because of his conditions already. Thank you again. Mrs Bubbles from Virginia.
My daughter had Kawasaki in late July 2014 in central California coast at 16 months old. Her fever started low and normal, acting normal, then a couple days later a rash began small grew over her whole body, and fever not amended by both ibuprofen and tylenol and got up to 108! I couldn't even touch her. For a few days she wouldn't eat, could barely get her to drink and was not feeling well. It is obvious the kid needs medical help. They told me do not stop to do anything, go directly to the hospital and we will call ahead and tell them you are coming. They had IVIG in her that night on day 8 of illness (they say within 10 days to get treatment), and a second dose was needed with advil afterwards. Inflammation in the heart was observed before the second dose of IVIG, but all followup cardio appointments since have been normal.
Good morning Dr. Campbell, Thank-you for your videos...I watch everyday. My daughter presented with a similar disease some years ago called Henoch Schonlein Purpura. It is an inflammatory disease of the capillaries. It is quite rare and her kidneys were affected. It was a terrible time. I am very sorry to see this happening in children. I was told that my daughter had some virus or other occurrence six weeks earlier which triggered this autoimmune response. She was treated with steroids for four months and the awful symptoms cleared. It appears that some people can have life long problems or relapses and some can be fine afterwards.
I practice medicine in NYC & the numbers you're quoting like "100 in US" are very low, & must just refer to kids currently on ECMO (life support). We have about 2 dozen "post infection syndrome" kids in my hospital alone, but they're not all in the ICU. We're communicating with colleagues at London hospitals who see the same condition amongst pediatric patients. Please be advised that the syndrome is quite visible & alarming in fair children who present with bright red eyes, lips, tongue & rash. However, it's harder to notice (& therefore diagnosis can be delayed) in different ethnicities, particularly in kids with dark skin & eyes. Please monitor your children closely, & if they're dark, have them open their eyes & mouth wide & be sure to examine the tongue
@@Froven80 But they're testing negative for current infection to the virus? Theyre testing positive to having had the virus previously. Also wouldnt the timing and current rarity fit with cases of second exposure after previous recovery?
@@cilandialane3084 Yes it definitely could be left over problems, but what if its due to secondary exposure? This would mean we have a significant problem on the horizon. The rate of secondary exposure is probably quite low at present, so this could be hiding the true ratio of children that will be affected.
my son developed some of these symptoms and treated infection in hospital (near NY) - he was negative for Covid-19 and on follow up yesterday both him and I were tested for antibodies, waiting for results - this virus is crazy + so much unknown - read that antibody tests are giving very conflicting results - thank you for solid information dr. campbell
Hi, I’m curious if they tested your son for any other viruses? I myself am not a physician but we have numerous pediatric practices and in testing many of patients for Covid with a respiratory panel the majority came back negative for Covid19 but positive for many other respiratory viruses. Also wonder if other virus aside from respiratory. Also haven’t asked anyone this but I did see someone else lose the question of whether high usage of disinfectants could possibly cause this. No idea but I’m very curious about this and wonder if it has nothing directly to do with Covid19 as I haven’t seen anything that says either the child had Covid19 or had antibodies. If not then it would seem the antibodies are coincidental and it is actually something else. Hope all is well with your son and he feels better soon!

Dr Campbell, in light of the fact that children are now being affected by Covid-19, do you think the government should delay sending children back to school from June 1st? Is this new discovery in children likely to affect the government’s decision?

Very clear and well put together video. I recall in your recent video on vitamin D you mentioned it being involved in immune response regulation, as well as the properties previously mentioned.

There could possibly be a correlation between this inflammatory condition and a compromised immune system possibly related to a recent childhood immunization.
@Andrew Ongais didn't italy recieve mandated vaccinations in aug before all this pandemic spread? Didn't Italy get hurt the worst? What about the paw paw fruit in tanzania that tested positive?
@@nicolapegg6429 if breastfed they wont need it if the mother is eating healthy and getting her dosage. But as the person above said, 6 months to 5-6 years are recommended to take it. Small doses!
They should be outside getting exercise and sunshine. In history RICKETS in children was caused by low vitamin D this is why they started putting it in milk. IMNSHO if the child is going to see a doctor you should get it checked.
I gave my son an emulsion of cid liver oil every morning. His two children had the same. This contains omega 3 as well as vitamins A and D. It was specially made for children and babies. I understand my mother, who was a nurse, gave me the same product.
Damn I hate this virus. 😡 I, and everyone I know, are on vitamin D suplements. That, and social isolation, is the best we can do, at the moment, I guess. I'm one of the many people left unemployed due to this crisis, though fortunately, living in Finland, I have access to a decent social safety net. I've been paying my dues to a private unemployment fund too, but due to the huge surge in applications, there's a delay before I start getting payments. I'm just happy I have some savings so I'm not in trouble. At the moment I'm living on those savings, until I start getting my unemployment benefits. (I'll get paid for the time it took for them to handle the application as well, of course.) My sister has a two year old girl, that I care a lot about, and this covid related syndrome in kids is really scary to me.
Hi Dr.Campbell, in Feb. and Mar., Chinese media have reported many cases talking about some younger people may have no symptoms for several days but progress to Multisystem Inflammatory suddenly.
If you look at the age distribution of deaths in general it's not too surprising. Deaths are mostly among the very old; you have good chance to be in a care home at that age.
Thank you Dr. Campbell. I really appreciate the time you take to process the information and how transparent is your analysis and presentation. You are being admired in the U.S. I am concerned this virus is affecting people in all stages of life. I feel people should be aware of this and maybe it will help them make better decisions that will improve our current situation. Everyone should be using cloth masks, reporting symptoms on a daily basis on their mobile phones, be willing to cooperate in random testing and donating plasma. What are your thoughts on these?
Medicine is slowly emerging from an era when thought that our diets would not benefit from supplements. There training had focus too much on dealing with this 'thing' that cause a disease and too little on how our body can resist those things.
A routine blood test would identify that. I'm sure they've received all routine testing and more. They certainly aren't reporting every test detail to the public. They never do.
My mother's brother died in 1925 of sleepy sickness, (encephalitis lethargica), (brain inflammation), aged two and a half. It was a syndrome that appeared around the time of 1919 flu pandemic. There was never a connection established though, but they both disappeared as strangely as they had appeared.
I have been watching your videos since the beginning of this all and have appreciated all the information you have provided. Do you think it may be more likely that this condition is something entirely separate from covid, I could see how with the timing it would not be unlikely that many people will be exhibiting a new condition that also now have antigens in their blood, but not necessarily be brought on by the covid, I also could see how we may be seeing a new multitude of syndromes brought on due to covid. you mentioned not all these children have tested for the antigens and none of the children from china are showing these symptoms. This syndrome sounds very close to something we just went through with our youngest son this past October, so i am really interested to see the information that they find. Thank you for all you share you have been a calm informative voice through this all!
@mtbin2 Could that the kids have been more indoors and got less sun explain some of the increase? Other factors that have changed under the pandemic than the actual virus could also be a culprit. There is no reports of the syndrome from Sweden where the kids still go to school / daycare.
A meta analysis looking at vitamin d in children: Results: Studies have shown that several pediatric cardiovascular diseases may be associated with Vitamin D deficiency or insufficiency, including hypertension, orthostatic intolerance, and Kawasaki disease. Conclusions: Vitamin D may play a role in the regulation of the cardiovascular system. Further investigation would hopefully disclose the usefulness of Vitamin D as a biomarker for cardiovascular diseases in children. pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/28948941/

Yes! There is one on Kawasaki Disease and Vitamin D. www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/25994612 Actually, it seems any disease with inflammation (which may include most diseases) would have an impact with Vitamin D since it has such influence with the inflammatory process.
Dear Dr Campbell, I'm Valentina Pelaez from Bogotá Colombia(I'm an architect, from a doctors family). Your videos are a very good source of proper information! Thank you! I have one question! Why are so many people carrying the covid-19 without showing any symptoms? Have scientists some explanations? Is someone doing at least blood tests to see why? There could be a lot of answers!!!
This doctor has amazing sympathy towards the less fortunate around the world who will suffer hugely ...what a very kind person. .if only all people had this feelings towards all

hi Lee , Have you seeen John today? i can,t find todays vid
From Ecuador, thank you! From the beginning your videos have been my go-to for straight up information. I appreciate it more than you know!

Thank you Dr Campbell, been watching you for three months now! You’ve been a gem through all this
I have high suspicion that this is caused by severe vitamin D deficiency. Kawasaki's disease was linked with severe vitamin D deficiency
HI I think its due to a copper deficiency. A chronic copper deficiency caused by the disease. This causes a systemic down regulation of anti-inflammatories SOD and BDH and an up regulation of pro-inflammatories associated with copper deficiency - this will also control iron mediated oxygen regulation
At the same time a depletion of lysyl Oxidases mediated repair of elastin (via fibulin 5.) in the blood vessels with copper depletion. the virus attacks the copper mediated immune system. In adults who have a greater copper deficiency - the virus can home in on the lungs and blood vessels immediately but in children the effect is to erode the whole system defended by copper enzymes.
This virus first evolved in Hubei around a copper smelter - so it learned these tricks.
These are some classic Kawasaki disease symptoms!
How is this syndrome not considered Kawasaki disease? What is the difference?
@Slomofogo :)

I think this becomes more important when vaccinations are ready. It can be kids may overreact to vaccines as well. So maybe it would be better if only adults get vaccines.
This interview with Dr Jack Kruse from US explained very well about this syndrome, sunlight, Vitamin D connection w C19

Web-MD says:
Kawasaki disease is an illness that causes inflammation (swelling and redness) in blood vessels throughout the body. It happens in three phases, and a lasting fever usually is the first sign. The condition most often affects kids younger than 5 years old.
Symptoms: Lymphadenopathy; Fever
Scientists haven't found an exact cause for Kawasaki disease. It might be linked to genes, viruses, bacteria, and other things in the world around a child, such as chemicals and irritants.

Here in the Netherland, schools opened again. I refuse to take my son there because I don't want him to participate in this experiment
That makes you breaking the law, your kid is supposed to get an education (at least till they are 18 y. old). "leerplicht"
I oppose this (back to school) from the point of vieuw that children may not get sick a lot, but they DO spread the virus just like adults (they found it in kids excrement for weeks after they got infected).

All OK now?

I agree - his description of vasoconstriction and dilation (and why it happens) with the garden hose analogy was so simple yet made perfect sense, and made it easy to understand why the body does what it does to raise or lower blood pressure. I've heard it explained before, but always in more complex or confusing ways; whereas this made it really easy to understand.

This is something I've been concerned with in all mild cases.
It might be seen in a minority of children right now, but what about the future? As it appears to be a delayed reaction I predict many more cases will become apparent into the future.

Could this be the body over reacting to a second exposure to the virus?
Its probably children who's reacting to the virus stronger than others.
@@Froven80 But they're testing negative for current infection to the virus? Theyre testing positive to having had the virus previously. Also wouldnt the timing and current rarity fit with cases of second exposure after previous recovery?
@@CraBur It could be leftover problems of the virus. Adults are having leftover problems of the virus as well.
@@CraBur And it havent been confirmed yet that it is the coronavirus that is the reason. Even if it looks like that.
@@cilandialane3084 Yes it definitely could be left over problems, but what if its due to secondary exposure? This would mean we have a significant problem on the horizon. The rate of secondary exposure is probably quite low at present, so this could be hiding the true ratio of children that will be affected.
my son developed some of these symptoms and treated infection in hospital (near NY) - he was negative for Covid-19 and on follow up yesterday both him and I were tested for antibodies, waiting for results - this virus is crazy + so much unknown - read that antibody tests are giving very conflicting results - thank you for solid information dr. campbell
Were you or your son given vitamin D3 or any other nutrients?
wavenature no but his blood panels were checked so if he had low Vit D, tests would have shown - he is a twin + twin sister is fine

Good question
Hello becouse i know a loot abouth Corona Virus ... For sure i can answer to you ...
This year the childrens "Maybe" Can start school in November
Don't take this risk to send your kids early to school! Belive me
It doesn't appear to be a significant problem, so I would assume it would have no effect on children returning to school at all.
This is all a hoax and you are part of the problem. Wake up fool!
Use the thing between your ears and you'll deduce
just a reminder I try to watch daily, your daily updates are valuable to many of us. considering facts are king with what you have to say.
Very clear and well put together video. I recall in your recent video on vitamin D you mentioned it being involved in immune response regulation, as well as the properties previously mentioned.

I really appreciate your summary at the beginning of the video for people who may not have time to view the entire video. You are one of the few you tubers who is sincerely interested to sharing information instead of focused on building a following. Thanks so much.
This is utterly terrifying !!!! I can’t imagine a day I will ever leave the house again and not be terrified
Hmmm did you fell safe with STD & HIV all around you???
@@jwarmstrong they were easier to avoid than this.
Should children take vitamin D supplements daily?
Yes from 6 months
xiz22 absolutely!!
Fantastic tutorial. I have learnt a lot of important information from you over the past few months. I have shared with my 3 girls. 🙏
Damn I hate this virus. 😡
I, and everyone I know, are on vitamin D suplements. (I'll get paid for the time it took for them to handle the application as well, of course.)
My sister has a two year old girl, that I care a lot about, and this covid related syndrome in kids is really scary to me.
J. Lahtinen yes it’s awful. Hopefully the numbers are declining as more people have had it. Also this syndrome is very rare from what I’ve seen.
Hopefully, with this crisis, people will see the importance of saving some $, to tide them over emergencies & pay off credit card debt.
wendy mower where I am from healthcare is free. Can’t imagine the stress in the us at the moment
Me too, I've watched some youtube videos describing all the horrendous symptoms people are going through who have it really bad.
Has nothing to do with this virus though.
You ppl are so easy to manipulate
Hi Dr.Campbell, in Feb. and Mar., Chinese media have reported many cases talking about some younger people may have no symptoms for several days but progress to Multisystem Inflammatory suddenly.
Dr Campbell sir thanks for bringing to light some symptoms in children requiring investigation 14/05/2020
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Canada.
This has been on my mind for a while thanks
Always learning from your videos! ..❤
Poor kids .
Hope they recover soon
Our older generations are being lost and now are future generations are in danger
I was shocked to see 43% of deaths were in old age homes in Scotland. I know realize this is common. 50% in Georgia. So sad for so many.
If you look at the age distribution of deaths in general it's not too surprising. Deaths are mostly among the very old; you have good chance to be in a care home at that age.
This great!! Thank you for your work on this.
thanks for giving us the bottom line at the start of videos
Thank you Dr. Campbell. I really appreciate the time you take to process the information and how transparent is your analysis and presentation. You are being admired in the U.S.
I am concerned this virus is affecting people in all stages of life. I feel people should be aware of this and maybe it will help them make better decisions that will improve our current situation. Everyone should be using cloth masks, reporting symptoms on a daily basis on their mobile phones, be willing to cooperate in random testing and donating plasma. What are your thoughts on these?
Thank you for explaining everything to us!!!!
Hi from sunny Devon! Thank you Dr 👍
No mention that the doctors even checked levels of vitamin D3 or any other nutrients. Why is this being ignored?
Same reason you are not a doctor - due diligence vs. chicken little thinking
Yes, I don't understand that either.
There is no money in that...they push things that make them 💰.
Having been someone who's had scarlet fever as a child, some of this sounds eerily similar.
That's what it reminded me of too.
Muko hime I had scarlet fever too (8 years old).
Also had scarlet fever as a child, with resulting kidney damage and many inflammatory conditions through my life and now in my 70s. Hmmm.
My mom who is now 75had it as a child.
@@TheParentTeacherBridge yeah I ended up having it when I was 7, back in 1998. The disease sucks lol
They're doing a good job of spreading this PMIS information on TV News shows here in the States. Just watching one now; same information.
Love your videos so factual and statistically to the point 👍👍keep up the good work x
I bet ur great at countdown
Question: are there any studies concerning Vitamin D or other supplements for children as related to Cov-19? Thank You!
@mtbin2 Could that the kids have been more indoors and got less sun explain some of the increase? Other factors that have changed under the pandemic than the actual virus could also be a culprit. There is no reports of the syndrome from Sweden where the kids still go to school / daycare.
A meta analysis looking at vitamin d in children:
Results: Studies have shown that several pediatric cardiovascular diseases may be associated with Vitamin D deficiency or insufficiency, including hypertension, orthostatic intolerance, and Kawasaki disease.
Conclusions: Vitamin D may play a role in the regulation of the cardiovascular system. Further investigation would hopefully disclose the usefulness of Vitamin D as a biomarker for cardiovascular diseases in children.
