I've only really noticed him since his brother moved up in the ranks (he has been out of division 1 for a while), and he doesn't really inspire me with his fighting - though I agree he's not bad. But hearing more about his personality, his humour, how he gets on with Tobi and admires Akiseyama, makes me like him more. I'll pay his bouts a bit more attention... maybe there's depths in there i haven't noticed. I'd certainly like to see him go higher.

Hidenoumi had a great basho, he is big has good technique and relatively fast and also has good balance. He can easily stay in the top division if he will be healthy.
Hidenoumi seems to be a very thoughtful Rikishi even stopping his throws once he knows that he has won. I like him.

I got into sumo because of Tochinoshin but I stay because of guys like Hidenoumi. Seems very nice and considerate.
