I recently (and bye recently I mean yesterday) took my first Disney trip to Walt Disney world. I spent so much time at magic kingdom. I pretty much stayed in frontier land. I love splash mountain. Thank you tony Baxter for this ride and I thank my dad for showing me song of the south. It was a part of his childhood and it’s a part of my teen years
Thanks for the great POV! Thank GOD they fixed the last bird in the finale, so that all of the birds are playing their instruments! Br’er Roadrunner, Br’er Fox, Br’er Frog, and the Laughin Place are still in awful condition though unfortunately..
Wow so much stuff fixed and painted and added! They finally darkened up the Laughing Place (first drop in dark). You even caught the FSU Gopher! They even fixed the colors on the briar patch (final drop)! The only problem I actually seen was final audio loop for Brer Rabbit not working but Fox's was so that is good but the gator pulling fox's tail not working still that has been broken for a while and Zip A Dee Lady is still in B Mode. Just a few more fixes and it will be back to perfect!!!!
I hope to God Splash is saved. The actress talked about it. Even though Disney did not confirm or deny it, they had their a own statement of their own that they will talk about it at June 30th. Such a infuriating situation. Hope splash is saved.
@@MT-tu8dt Everyone flipping out over it. She is under a NDA just like everyone that has ever worked for Disney. Disney NDA’s are horrible soooooo…with her even saying that she might just being throwing shade she never mentions Splash at all. She says “We’re building a Princess and the Frog attraction” not once was our ride mentioned. Splash is way too iconic this is the type of stuff that would actually cause a mass riot over it I’m being dead serious about it. Same would go for Haunted Mansion if it got touched the riot would be devastating. I’m not saying to riot but in my mind this is what will happen if either ride got touched.
Very cool! I rode it twice when I was at Magic Kingdom on vacation in January. I can’t wait to ride it hundreds more times once I start Disney College Program in July!
PSA: If your scared of the drops on splash mountain dont be just think as if your going down a slide on the playground and you might not know it but going down a slide is actually just as fast as the drop down chick a pin hill
@@philipkippel3615 Hey buddy, where are you getting this? The actress made that statement and Disney declined it but said they will give a update about what they will do with Princess Tiana. I want Splash to be saved but Disney is overrun by activists. I’m praying for a miracle Splash is saved.
I liked how they fixed brer frogs jaw in the laughing place scene. Also pretty lazy of Disney to purposefully remove brer fox’s audio at the end because they can’t find a way to fix his jaw
Yeah not gonna be an easy fix either man. Been there since 1992 and getting hard to find parts. I wished they would just replace the stuff with newer functioning stuff yeah I like the old ones still but might be cool too see what the Brers would look like in 2022 or 2023.
@@harryfoley2294 I know they do. Splash is a very expensive ride to maintain anyways. It needs to be fixed up though to 100%. I think they are just waiting to fix it up completely.

Frontierland is the best area of the park! It's beautiful and has two incredible rides!

I am so sad I just had my last ever ride on splash mountain.
Such a great ride, I doubt the retheme could even be half as good as it is now.
