    Why did you put trd badges on your SR5? Did you add crawl control and locking diff to your base model?

      @SarasotaTim  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      To break up the red paint. This is why and they are Toyota cool. 😎

      @@SarasotaTim but it's not a TRD.

      @@youWoNtLikeMe04 Yes, E&C I know this lol but that doesn’t mean I can’t put pretty badges on it to make it look nice. I was saying the truck is too RED hence the additional chrome badges that say TRD.
      I don’t won’t to get into a pissing match with you, I’m just trying mod my 4Runner as I like.
      Also the feature crawl control is nothing more than ATrac with cruise control. Lockers are only used to get unstuck then turn off immediately as you can’t drive more than a couple miles an hour with it engaged.
      Finally all 4WD 4Runners are exactly the same aside from some embroidery on the headrest and shocks that aren’t any better. My BASE model 🤣 will go anywhere any 4Runner will go with or without TRD badges or an embroidered headrest.
      Thanks for commenting 😎

      I like the 4Runner with the basket rack. Very off roadish looking. 😎

    You should add the TRD Pro Grill on yours. I did it myself on mine. I love it!!!!

      Yeah I’m thinking about it and there’s an after market one for much less than Toyota. 😎

      @@SarasotaTim I was going to buy the aftermarket one but you'll have to add the letters yourself. I didn't want to do that. I purchased the OEM one from a Florida Toyota dealership on eBay. It already comes with the letters on it.

    I bought a TRD OFD Premium and i think its the best of both worlds. Those raptor rock sliders are not good for winter that i know from multiple people who have them on Tacos and wranglers. they look cool tho

    The Pro has dual climate zone, JBL upgraded sound and subwoofer, rear locker, crawl control, trd badged skid plate, and trd stitched seats. Some things that were not mentioned in the comparison. Otherwise, both are very reliable and capable vehicles, whether SR5 or Pro. IMO..

    • @SarasotaTim
      @SarasotaTim  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I agree completely although I don’t have lockers I do have ATrac that works like crawl control! Also downhill assist that’s simply amazing. I think the stereo system is upgraded someone also sounds pretty damn good. But right out of the box no matter what trim level you purchase 4Runner is one very capable off-road vehicle.

    I have an SR5 Premium and I hate the chrome. Chrome to me looks cheap and why do you have TRD badges all over your SR5? The TRD Pro’s are so much nicer in my opinion.

      There isn’t a trail any other stock 4Runner 4X4 can go that mine can’t. It’s bad ass! This I’ve proven in Moab.

      When I bought this 4Runner you got what they had. No selection available in fact as of today I don’t think you can find a 4X4 on a Toyota lot. Thanks COVID.

      I HATE the red stitching in the trd off road hate it, and hate the trd head rests. Yucky. The black grey and steel color is subtle and understated

    I prefer the trd rims over stock sr5 everyday the black aren’t for everyone I would say look into the silver with the red trd logo on them I think they would look amazing with ur car but all preference !

      If I ever get rims those would be the ones I get I know the ones you’re talking about. You’re more of a charcoal gray platinum color very nice.
