Imotekh, also known as Imotekh the Stormlord or simply the Stormlord, is the phaeron of the Sautekh Dynasty and perhaps the strongest and most accomplished Necron Overlord in the galaxy at the end of the 41st Millennium.
Imotekh rules over a Necron stellar empire currently comprising 80 Tomb Worlds. Renowned for his supreme strategic genius and pride, he has led successful campaigns across entire sectors to expand his growing realm against the lesser sentient races of the galaxy. - บันเทิง

In the lore, Imotekh is a great general who is such a tactical genius that he's always four steps ahead of his enemies unless he's facing the Orks, who are so illogical that he can't predict them at all, which implied that back during the War in Heaven, the Old Ones made the Krorks to counter Imotekh's tactical genius. It speaks volumes about the guy when his enemy literally creates a race specifically just to counter him.
I can imagine Zandrekh and Imothek just sitting together and complaining about how stupid Orks are. And Imothek just ignores Zandrekhs super dementia.
@@requiemlul3140 Ah, funny thing about that, in lore, Zandrekh can handle the Orks much better than Imotekh can because they're both insane, illogical beings. It's implied that thanks to Zandrekh's robot dementia, he can kind of understand Orks' Orkyness and plan his tactics accordingly.
Krorks used tactics, they were nothing like orks.
Krorks are a lot smarter than Orks, look at the Beast, which are leaning closer to the Krorks, they are logical and used actual tactics.
@@cousinzeke4888 The Krorks were made to find war 'fun', and they get bigger, stronger, more cunning and more technologically and psychically advanced the more 'fun' they have. The kind of tactics Krorks can make are not the kind that actual sapient beings would even think of making. Think of how the Blood Axes 'plan' things and just amplify that by hundredfold, the Krorks' tactics wouldn't be similar to humans or even Eldar's tactics because that wouldn't be 'fun' and Krorks are made to want to make the war more 'fun'.

IIRC: The silent king saw the hive mind itself, the TRUE SCALE of the Tyrranid threat and knew that the entire might of the necron empire would need to be awakened to even have a shot of stopping the bugs.

When Bricky started calling Imotekh's model "really old" and I remember clearly when it came out and it was a big deal because until that point necrons only had like 5 units and one of them was the Necron Lord....I shall now crumble into dust I guess

Zandrekh was actually so happy to be Nemesor, and tries so hard to fullfil all dutys of this role perfect that he cant even think of going against Imothek, since Nemesor is not only a very high military position or actually chief comander of the military of a dynasty, but also a high representative of the Phareon
I want them to redo all the Necron characters. Imotekh, Orikan, Trazyn, Anrakyr, Zahndrekh and Obyron. Put them in a box set called "Necron Overlords" or "Overlords of the Necrontyr" or something and get all the money from everyone.

This is only by technicality but Fulgrim. I want a model of Clone Fulgrim, all decked out in his new Trazyn-customized armor ready to kick his daemonic self's ass.
Now I have the image of Fulgrim wearing a modified version of Space marine armour adorned with Necron hieroglyphs, burning green all over, except for the chest which will be left empty (where the Imperial Aquila would be placed), wielding an oversized Necron hyperphase sword with a glyph on its blade resembling the Imperial Aquila.
Who here agrees Adeptus Ridiculous is one of the few channels where they don’t have a annoying hatred towards the new Necrons?

I'd estimate the average Tomb World population in the hundreds of millions, with the really big ones in the low billions. Remember, they weren't a particularly healthy and fertile species back when they were Necrontyr and they probably weren't churning out human numbers.
The Necrontyr's strength was never in their population, but their technology.

We have excerpts of tombworlds having billions of necron warriors alone like in Severed and there are around 1 billion tomb worlds still around.
The Necrons more than match the imperium in numbers when fully awakened.
The strength is in the stones.
This is incorrect because the logic is backwards. It's because the original Necrontyr had bodies that failed due to bad health as they aged (hence the desire for long life from the Old Ones), they needed high fertility and reproduction to make up for the shortfall of population loss to successfully continually expand as they did.
If they weren't originally a fertile species, they would have died out alone due to the radiation sickness of their species cutting down their max age. Successful species that have short lifespans have high reproduction rates. See stuff like insects or "breeding like rabbits" phrase.
Now they had that high fertility original numbers converted into immortal robot bodies.

You know what would be an interesting necron development? A necron with their mind who was lower ranking and theyre basically a subversive element within the necrons. They could do a moses vibe with it and it would fit with the setting.

If you carefully read the parts where they're talking to the triarchs and the council, you'll see that they all think that imotekh is dead. But orikan says a line in the background that indicates that he may have fecked with time to keep him alive.

While normally they’re all “purge the xenos!” there have been several stories were the Imperium teams up (or at least has a temporary truce) with Eldar and Tau against a larger enemy.

You could have talked about how Imothek wants specificaly to assert dominance by dueling the comander he defeated, but he is not good. He is a Overlord with relic gear, but nothing more which is while he almost lost to helbrecht, which is Something you could also talked more about, or how he lost his Ship, one of the three only known Tomb-Ships, which are like the strongest things that are smaller than a Moon/the death star

I always like to imagine that the reason why the flayer virus exist is nocrons want to not be robot anymore, to be a living creature again. but the virus twist this idea, where Necrons wears a skin of others to get the feeling of being Necrontyr. And their special dimension? it is the same deal as with the Flesh-eater court, where they see them self as normal.

Imotekh is my favorite 40k character by far due to him not being super op on his own but being such a tactical genius.

Personally, and I know there are so many more options than just marines, but I’m split between a primaris Dante and legion of the damned.
I would have them revamp the Chaos Forsaken (from WFB, bring it into AOS) but have them keep the modularity, so that no two chaos forsaken would look the same.

The T'au definitely need new vehicles! They haven't had any new skimmers since they first came out in 2001. (Skyrays don't count since they still use the same frame as the Hammerhead and Devilfish)
