Caught up with Patrick McFadden and Hunter Morrow as we set off for an adventure into some country that we had never previously hunted. A mate put us in touch with a farmer that had some Geese that were hammering his winter feed. The rest is well history...

Man you guys are living the life ! Looks like excellent goose hunting . It use to be really good here in the states but there is a lot of hunting pressure anymore lots of hunters. That is so wild you guys have Canada geese there , I wonder when they were brought there ? The population seems to be strong , probably less hunting pressure also and you get to shoot the paradise ducks and swans ! So jealous! Great videos , makes me want to live in New Zealand!

Thanks mate! It’s not always like this but certainly when it goes right it is incredible, and to be able to do it in such a spectacular place is even more special. The population was first introduced in 1905 I believe, the geese do get quite a lot of pressure depending where you are in the country. They can be very hard to hunt.
