Awesome man. Stoked you liked the video. Took me a couple of years to get my ducks lined up so to speak 😂 Got a couple of hard drives full of stuff like this and a ton of bird dog training stuff with Miko. Got a lot of editing and work to do getting it all ready. Off to shoot a deer with Print this week and back next week making a start editing. Thanks for the support mate!
@@terrr954 Awesome! You'll be into the bird dog bootcamp video series too man. Perfect for blueprint to get all the retrieving and bird dog stuff dialled.
Well done mate, you are a good shot. I’m impressed with your dogs. I’m planning to get a German pointer myself. How have you trained them if you don’t mind me asking?
Hey mate I already have a couple of dog training series out. Links in the description now. And I have a bird dog training series coming out soon. I'll post on the channel when the bird dog series is out. It'll be soon. The next few weeks.
Great video Just one thing never put your dogs in the back of your truck with the birds you have shot unless they secured from your dogs Because one day one will be eaten and that dog will never be trusted again I found out the hard way
Really good point mate. I should have been clear about that. I usually have a crate in the back and keep the dogs separate from the birds and gear. Just forgot it this time and it’s only 5 minutes from home and I knew they’d be fine. Definitely overall, and in general keep the dogs separate from birds game and meat etc. Also your gear. Decoys, packs and bags etc especially with pups and young dogs. They end up chewing pack straps and gear etc and it’s just setting them up to fail and teaching them bad habits. Great point mate. I always encourage constructive feedback and suggestions like that for my self and others watching. Cheers!
Hi Paul what breed is your dog don't mean to be desrepectable looks like springer lab cross I would be rapt if it was mine your kennel discipline was amazing most dogs would have broken cheers Rod
@@roddawson5213 she’s a vizsla heading dog cross. Yea mate she’s good on the steadiness. One of the most important things. I don’t care how much drive they have if they aren’t steady they aren’t ready to hunt. I’ve got some better footage of her sitting in her blind with ducks walking around right in front of her and lots more good retrieving work on geese and water and woundies etc. She’s a nice dog and she’s going well. I’ll get her on the deer next too. She also has a hell of a stalk and point on pheasants. Lots to come mate. Just takes a lot of time getting it all together.
Excellent video. I truly enjoyed watching.
Loved that Paul been waiting years for these duck ones :)
