  • In this Lith adventure in the darkroom I cover many papers, Agfa Record Rapid, Tura Excellent, Mimosa and Berfolot. I travel to Italy, Chioggia to capture some images to bring back to the darkroom for development. I will also do a ice bath at 2 degree and capture this with my Bronica ETRSi on medium format film.

Paper for days!!! So cool to see some of these papers. Many I have never heard or seen. I jump at the chance to buy just about anything that is old and Agfa. Thanks for making this!

Thank you so much for watching. I've many more papers I need to use. Leonar papers are amazing if you can find them and such an interesting history too, at some point I need to do a video on that subject on its own. I have three boxes of Neobrom 30x40 papers made in the 2000s which are from the old recipes, these Lith beautifully. At the moment family life is taking up a lot of my time to make more content. I guess that's how it is.

@@GavinLyonsCreates it’s tough to find time… Lith takes time! I you can spend days with it!

I'm trying to understand the process but something is missing? What paper is available today for this process? Your videos all use old hard to find inexisentence papers. I don't exactly trust ordering from eBay for obvious reasons.

Hi Franco, Unfortunately I don't really know of modern papers which work well with Easylith. Just recently I bought two sealed Kodak Polymax boxes off eBay they were fine and didn't cost the world. Often secondhand classified websites are good places to find papers too. Just Ilford papers and stick with the old classic such as Oreo, Agfa, Forte, Oriental Seagull.
On my blog I've a few articles on papers too.
      Hope that kinda helps.

Hello, My apologies for breaking into this conversation. Fomatone is a modern and readily available paper that apparently liths very well (just toning with selenium gives great results too).
