I was at this show and I LOVED it. My favorite concert of 2023. So happy to see Trevor Horn playing Buggles songs and more. “Living in the Plastic Age” is one of my favorite albums of all time.
Wow! I was 7 when this came out in 1980 in the UK. It is one of the first songs I learned all the lyrics to and at age 51 I still play it often. Fabulous tune and never seen it done live before, only ever on (ironically!!) video.
Oh man, what a timelessly brilliant song! I remember being 12 years old in the kitchen at my parents' house in London when I first heard this song on the radio. It made an indelible impression.
@@globalmodelsdotbiz8965 I only said he was a great member of YES. I never said anything about one of his musical abilities exceeding another, nor did I rate his various musical abilities or say what musical ability he was best known for. I appreciated your input, but I already knew quite a lot about Mr. Horn.
FIRST VIDEO EVER PLAYED ON MTV WHEN IT FIRST CAME ON THE AIR BACK WHEN MTV ACTUALLY PLAYED VIDEOS. COULDN'T WAIT TO GET HOME FROM SCHOOL TO WATCH IT. IM 54yo NOW.
Trevor, along with Steve Lipson, is fast becoming a big influence on my my music. Behind Stewart Copeland & Rush. Real music, not just everyday pop pap.
one of the first records i ever bought its always remains one of my favourite songs of all time thanks for all the memories Trevor 👍the lyrics are so true
You always get that one bloke near the front who stands up with his phone and spoils it for the ones behind. I've never understood people who watch live performance through their phone screens, stay at home and watch on TH-cam
You are absolutely correct mate. I could moan about this for many hours, but I will spare you that punishment! It is even worse when you have seven or eight people doing it in front of you. Oh Lordy, I’m starting to go on about it, so I will go outside and shout at some clothes instead.
And with that song, a new musical generation was born. It's only as I get older that I truly appreciate it's impact.
Trevor Horn is such a talented man; songwriter, bass player, singer and producer! He's great!
Awesome, voice, like 1980 , excelent!! congratulations , you arr eternals!!!
Amazing! Great bass playing and singing. Great production...true to the music!
Trevor Horn, Legend.
Imagine the auditions and rehearsals that went into this show. What a feat!
Trevor Horn is a very talented man and the band is a great backing band.
Damn! That takes me back! And it sounds like it could have been written yesterday! You rock Trevor!

Same age and same for me, I seemed to remember it always playing at family get togethers and in my mums car, so learned and never forgot the lyrics :)
How old where you when it came out in 1979?
Oh man, what a timelessly brilliant song! I remember being 12 years old in the kitchen at my parents' house in London when I first heard this song on the radio. It made an indelible impression.
Même Chose en France à peu près ^^ .
A great member of YES
Many moons ago 😢

Indeed
He is better known for being a prolific producer than a member of Yes.

This is without a doubt the greatest song written in the history of recorded music and will stand the test of time forever.

Excellent version Trevor 😉
All the time favorite ❤

Le espero con ansias
I'm astonished so many people still had there butts sitting down, instead of dancing.
They may be like me old but still love good music
My childhood I was 9 in 1981 my uncle bought me this ❤
Trevor is an incredible bass player!
if u are sad listen to this. u woud still be sad but with a smile.
Much better than the crap that passes for music today
i don't want to live in a world without radio.

Would love to see him perform Adventures in Modern Recording (full album)
So much this!!!!! One of the best albums EVER!!!!
Excellent... but it's missing the amazing Debi Doss on backing vocals.
I use the opening of this as the startup sound on my PC
Please post the rest of the songs from this concert
Penso che sia una delle canzoni più poetiche e melanconiche canzoni pop della mia giovinezza...
👻 aguaaaa auuuuua
the jingle goes
👍👍👌
Radio staaaaaaar.
Great basist, didn’t know that.( nobody really mentions that when Trevor Horn comes up ).
Another fun fact: this song didn't get a live performance with full band members until 2023
Un jamón o un cuerno😊
Is the full show available anywhere?
Awesome, next 40 years and it will be played as 40 years ago..
Heston Blumenthal on keyboards?
A music executive's jamboree theme!
The whole album aint bad.
Bit wasted on that crowd all the same!! Get up off your seats 🕺🏻💃🏻
Good but can't beat 2004.
Absolutely brilliant, annoying guy at the start with the camera tho
Audience looks hard to please.
Seriously.
that audience look dead
Great Performance but boring and lame Audience
Shame about the backing voice(s) but still a great live performance.
Dance audience!!! Or at least stand up? What’s wrong with you?!!
Nice diversity hires. lol
It’s Seal’s backing band, m8…
@@RubUOutC Oh, I see. Variance from the original seems to be strange ground.
Sounds of my childhood
