- This makeover has been over six months in the making! I am so excited to finally be able to share with you our FINISHED staircase makeover. Using only paint, cheap window film and vintage and thrifted home decor ( plus a VERY SPECIAL SURPRISE!), we turned this outdated staircase into a beautiful centerpiece of our home. I hope you love it as much as we do.

Your staircase area looks fantastic…dramatic difference! The stairs looks like iron! You’ll never have to paint those crazy little tedious parts ever again. I want to try the window film someday…I might have to rewatch this first! lol

I think there is definitely a time and place for the window film, but definitely use your intuition and not their instructions haha

I’m telling you, I thought it would make it a little better but I’m shocked by how much more we love this staircase now just by basically painting it. Now be prepared, It’s an UNDERTAKING, but if you decide to paint your staircase it’s totally worth jt! 🥰❤️

Your hard work paid off. Everything looks amazing. i had the same problem with my window cling. I got it up but eventually mine just started curling up off the window and I could not get it to stay on so I took mine down. Yours looks so good.

And girrlllll that may be the last time I attempt a window film 😅 you know firsthand how much of a paint it is haha. But I do think I got a decent result with it, at least for now! 🤞🏼
