The Amish are so amazing. I loved watching that Amish painter transform the outside of your home. The fact he hand painted it with a brush says so much about how much pride he takes with his work. And the Amish...you just can’t beat their craftsmanship ...I wished all home builders had their techniques and standards. You are fortunate to live in an area where you can hire them as well as fortunate to have a brother in law to help pour concrete ...he and your husband did an outstanding job! I realized this morning that I didn't make a comment. I love old farmhouses. I lived in an old farmhouse once for about a year and I loved it. My parents rented it as a stepping stone until we found a more permanent home. Your home is beautiful- not only is the appearance nice, but more importantly, the atmosphere is homey. 😊
