Poppt dropping the weight on his squat is definitely the right thing to do. I hope he makes sure his form is correct too. There's no set back like going too hard and injuring yourself.

He stated in an earlier episode that he is counting both as samus bc they’re the same person, same with Sheik and Zelda, so if one of them dies, both are dead in the challenge
Sadly in Brawl they are the same character on the roster, to pick ZSS you had to pick Samus and hold a button down. It makes sense to treat them as the same character for a Brawl ironman/nuzlock.
He's treating the characters as if they died. What do you think happens if you put a suit on a corps?

Losing ZSS wasn't much of a big deal since at the point you lost her, you would be stuck as Samus until post game.
In the first episode he said he was counting ZSS and regular Samus as the same person. He has lost both ZSS and regular Samus now. Also, he wouldn’t have been stuck with regular Samus, in subspace emissary you can swap between the two

I remember way back in the days leading up to Brawl there was some misinfo that Falco had two blasters in Brawl just cuz of that cutscene introducing him in SSE.
The great maze is so big that you could do 2 entire videos on that one level

i think zss and samus should count as different for this challenge, since you need a smash ball to turn back into zss as samus and its not a normal ability like zelda/sheik
I miss when each character had unique swings for the beam sword. Like the swordies useing a double swing.
If you get as far as Captain Falcon and a beam sword his side smash is a two parter like Link's. So if you mash he thrusts, then uppercuts and it's fairly good in Subspace
You know, my initial prediction was that he would lose the locke in the level after you get Samus but then I saw a surprising amount of skill and changed my expectations to “he will lose to Tabuu.” 🤔

I feel like you can count Samus and ZSS as separate characters. Even if Brawl oddly tangles them together, Subspace kinda separates them.

lesson learned: when you link transforming characters together, and you are about to get one of said transformed characters, do NOT lead with the person you need for that character

And i think if you press - on the wii controller you can switch between zero suit and suit samus

I think it's appropriate for ironmans/nuzlockes to have a death counter. I'm currently doing an Ironman for Fire Emblem. So far....7 deaths for 8 chapters. Not too bad IMO.

You lost zss but you got Samus! It’s a new character for the nuzlocke
As he stated in an earlier episode, he is counting samus and zss as the same entry since they are canonically the same person. Same with Sheik and Zelda. So if one of them dies, so does the other ‘half’ of the character

@@Wyatt_Brown Like I said "When." To me : She always dies right around the Cannon Portion in the last area before you fight Lucario with Meta Knight. Mostly because the cannon can fire without Nana being in the cannon and the screen scrolls too fast for her to catch up. Or you use Up special to get to a higher place leaving Nana behind.
