I just got the shampoo and conditioner yesterday and used it for the first time today! I never get the expensive products because I’m always so nervous! But it is amazing! I don’t think I’ll ever go back to cheap brands! I have damaged hair from bleaching my hair it’s not too badly damaged but I can definitely say the product is amazing!
I bought these products! I love them, BUT a friend tole me they’re super bad on the long run because it makes it super brittle! Is this true? Anybody our there know?
On your advice got the olaplex oil... cost a pretty penny... but it worked wonders for my over bleached hair...Thanks Nadine! Merry Christmas. Lets hope 2021 is a better year for all of us
My hair is a weak point also. It is very fine but is frizzy curly. I shed everyday! I try my best to take care of it and use good products on it. My hair feels the best when I let it air dry but doesn't always look the best that way. I might try those products in the future. I have so many products I am using right now: Davines, Shu Umera, Color Wow, Playa, Philip B. and Colleen Rothschild! Wow, that is a lot.
This nexxus combo made me lose sooooo much hair. My hair became super brittle after a couple weeks and damaged. I dont straighten, blow dry or use anything else harsh :(
I wanted to try these products, specially because my stylist advices me to but definitely I won’t support animal abuse and tests on them. What a pity. I’ll keep looking.
Curly girl method actually uses rice water for rinsing and adding protein without all the nasties added - wouldn't personally bother with these tbh but just my opinion xoJoanxo
Sponsored , I use to like you independent opinions but SLS can cause irritatation and clog pores , I love Pureology because they products are free from parabens and SLS .

I’m here two years late but you’ve convinced me to try the shampoo 😊 I love my L’Oréal bond strengthening conditioner but I’ve been feeling that the corresponding shampoo is a bit expensive for what you get from it. This is on the other hand sounds like a steal. Definitely will be buying this as soon as I can!

My question is, do you think the Ola Plex works on non-color treated hair? I don’t want to spend the money if it’s only going to work on color treated hair. My stylus said only color treated hair was appropriate but I don’t think she knows everything :-). Would appreciate you weighing in.
I have the exact same hair!! Postnatal luck it just got Worse!! A colleague said I looked like Worsel Gummage and my hair wouldn’t stay up in a ponytail without having loads of flyaways 🤣

The reason hair frizzes in humidity is because you don't have enough moisture in your hair. If your hair doesn't have enough moisture it absorbs the humid air and frizzes. Work on adding moisture to your hair to lessen frizz.
Cool! I’ll need extra breakage protection again, since I’ll have to wait for a straightening treatment. My stylist is still doing hair, but I’m not willing to risk it. I’m in California. I’m happy to hear the shampoo is at least a little detangling. I like the Olaplex shampoo and conditioner, but with my natural hair, I might need more slip. Thanks for the heads up.

I’ve used several Nexus leave in conditioning products, they smell great but have alcohol in the ingredients which actually dries my hair out further!
If you have oily hair and not dyed the alcohol is not necessarily bad
Speaking of proteins , I’m really loving the ordinary hair peptides

It has protein in it so it couldve been protein overload maybe? If u add too much protein to ur hair thats what happens it can even snap off

Nexxus has some products that use silicones and they clogged up my scalp and when I switched products it made me shed a ton.
Those purple shampoo and conditioner bottles look like juggler's/juggling batons.
How often would you recommend having the olaplex salon treatment?

The second ingredient in the shampoo is an SLS (Sodium laureth sulphate) im surprised you are ok with that!
