    I also deep condition on dry hair as well. I like to apply the conditioner on my hair as I would do a relaxer.... makes my new growth so soft and manageable

    My hair is definitely 4C and natural. My hair is hip length. I've always and I do mean ALWAYS deep conditioned my hair during my pre poo phase. I then wash my hair and condition and style my hair like normal. I've done this forever. Especially since my hair is so coarse and so thick and so long, I feel like treating it first has always been my best bet. 🥰😍💖💕

    I always deep condition on dry hair no matter what. I don't care what state my hair and scalp is in. Sorry. I'm a lazy natural. It really works for me because it helps with detangling so much better. My hair dresser recommended this to me like 10 years ago and boy was she right. Deep conditioner is the biggest reason for my hair success. I still use the ORS replenishing packs. I love that stuff. Also, girl, after watching this video, I felt I should have hit a bell or something. This is the first type of video I watched that you made. You made your conditioning treatment and you applied it to your hair. You looked about 14 or 15 years old. It's just like old times.

I would often have my husband do trims especially during lock down when the salon was closed but Megz when I comb 😢😢😭😭the shedding. So again I ask how is your hair handling the different textures? We both have a full head of hair with thin strands is why I am asking

      Lol I’m obvi not her, but as someone who has gone back and forth, I don’t think it’s a waste. At the end of the day it’s just hair right? I feel like our community puts so much pressure on black hair and how it should be and we get scared to experiment. Granted our hair is unique and can’t go through everything but it shouldn’t stop us from changing it up, just give it that TLC like she does. And I agree with ya, both textures look great on her

    You should try the “L’anza Trauma Treatment restorative Conditioner”
    You can use it has a pre shampoo treatment masque or as a conditioner or normal hair mask with or without heat!
    It helps to heal hair that’s dry, damaged, or over processed, and helps to lock in color if you have color treated hair and deeply conditions the hair from inside out! It has healing actives inside of it to help heal your hair from damage! It works absolutely amazing on everyone!
    You can get it at a salon that carries l’anza products near you.
    Forgot to mention it’s lightweight and rinses clean with no residue!

    • @curlybella6225
      @curlybella6225 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@JaMyiaTytiana when she said leave them alone she means she don't do anything to them. When wearing wigs you need to be mindful at what position you have them on your head. And instead of gluing them down try doing clueless lacefronts or just regular wigs. That what I do and my edges are trying their best to grow back. I have this one spot on the right side that grows so slow. I have been massaging them everytime I cowash and shampoo. Plus I use pimento oil mixed with jbco on them too. Seems to be helping. Hey people, what does low porosity and high porosity mean? Thank you

    • @soniastovall7005
      @soniastovall7005 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi victoriaGod’schild. From what I’ve read and seen on videos, porosity refers to the ability of your hair to absorb and hold moisture. If it’s low porosity, the cuticles don’t open much and it’s takes longer for moisture to get past the cuticles and into the hair shaft. Cuticles on high porosity hair are more open and absorb moisture quicker, but can also lose the moisture quickly. Some people have normal porosity hair and seem to have fewer issues. Some products may work well on high porosity hair, but not on low porosity hair. For example, many people with low porosity hair cannot use much protein (e.g., aloe vera or rice water), and I’m one of them. I have to be careful, or I’ll get protein overload and my hair will dry out and break. I hope this helps. There are tons of TH-cam videos about hair porosity posted by relaxed and natural ladies. Check them out if you can, it will be well worth your time. Best wishes. 😊

    How exactly do you “Tex lax” your hair so that it still has texture? Can you do an updated video?
