- Today we arrive at Helsinki international airport from Stockholm, Sweden. After arriving in Helsinki airport in Finland I took the train from the airport down to Helsinki city center and that took 30 minutes.

From airport there is two circle lines so it’s no matter which train you take. Just running different ways to Helsinki

I guess this technically is International Arrival, but when flying in Europe I would differentiate more between Schengen and non-Schengen arrivals rather International and Domestic.
Exactly, you will arrive to exactly same gates also from Domestic flights and go through the same corridors.

The time you arrived at the Helsinki airport they were just expanding the main terminal, that's why the complex routing and all the empty space. The airport rail line is a circle line, all trains stop at the central station.
How complex can it be when he didn't get lost and it took 5 minutes from the plane to outside. 😅
2:58 in a year or two that will be filled with shops or something like that. It used to be the depature hall. HEL is changing and it is intersting for sure. Just a tip, ABC is enough from the airport to the center!

Just curious. As a Canadian landing in Helsinki, I would need to go through immigration and that is missing. Is it because no video are allowed in the immigration area? Great video, very informative.
Yes that’s what I was thinking ? Is there no immigration?
He would have needed to go through immigration if he would have flown from Canada, but I believe he was flying from Sweden. So there was no passport checks as he is flying inside Schengen. meaning it is "internal flight".

9:22 Small thing, but the ticket you bought was too expensive for just going to Helsinki city centre. You only need zones ABC for that trip.

I fully remember passing from there airport its extreamely cold in winter while nice and worm in the summer times

No, Czechia is also in the Schengen area, so there are no passport controls, and it's part of the EU so there are no customs checks. Customs and immigration are not the same thing, and some countries are in the EU, but not Schengen, and vice versa

14:00 Fighting is in our dna. Finland was basically a constant battleground for a 1000 years between us Finns, Swedes and Russians from viking age to the 2nd WW so we are very familiar about that 👊
