Played one glow round. Walked into a branch, glasses went flying. Last time for me. Gotta love the fall golf. You can spend ten minutes looking for a disc on a fifty foot green. You could attach a blower to your cart. Clean the greens then sent it down the hills with a little extra boost. Enjoy the vid as always!!
Thanks for another great video. 😊 I don't play glow rounds, but this time of year, our Wednesday handicaps finishes the last 2 or 3 holes after dark. I don't have any glow discs. I just bring a UV flashlight and some removable glow stickers. I put a couple on my discs and hand out stickers to those in need. Here in Florida, there are things in the dark you may not care to step on, as well as mosquitos, so I'm extra careful. Not really interested in complete glow rounds, but some of my friends love them.
deerfield and wildwood are a great combination. Thanks for filming here. These are my two favorite courses in the state. Great pod. Keep filming man. Really appreciate your opinion on courses. Thank you.
Played a few rounds of glow dg. Only at open park courses, though. Like a city park. And both were short 9 hole courses. Glow sticks on the baskets are a must! Just remember to take them down after play. One of my local courses still has old glow sticks tied to baskets from an early summer glow round event. Trashy. Thanks for the uploads. I need to play these courses.
Hudson Mills! You won't be disappointed. I live almost 4 hours away. Played it one time and have been itching to play it again! I'd give it borderline 10/10
I play year round, and I love glow tournaments and leagues. Its a great way to improve on perception, for baskets and lines to take. Also, if you have a glow bag, making patterns with a UV light is so fun to wach fly through the air. Just played this course for the first time!
As a person who plays year round I can say I love glow rounds for what they are. A way to go out and have fun and continue throwing through the Winter without just stopping. Now I live somewhere where there's no snow, but for me I personally also just play much more open courses so would I say it improves my technique? Not really. I find that the glow off of my axiom/MVP discs are so bright I'm blinded half the time and yes you could argue it's more feel because you can't see. There are some small amounts to that, but you are also most likely throwing a different set of discs you have to learn and season. So I take glow rounds as a fun way to keep disc golfing and a fun way to still see some discs fly. p.s. I also have basket lights and only use them if I know I'm going with friends who are going to be playing for a few hours and not just a couple rounds around because carrying them and setting them up is a nuisance if you're not going to leave them there for a few hours of play.
Yea it's a lot of set up just to sling a few holes! I tend to light my MVP like 4 times a round. If you do it every throw it actually hurts my eyes haha
When playing in the woods in autumn with all the leaves on the ground… have you ever choose a different color of disc that is not red yellow or orange so to make it easier to find?
I heard about this guy who played glow golf and had his eye gouged right out by a twig! I WOULD play glow golf but it’s not something I’m dying to do. I like to see where I’m aiming, see the disc in flight, see where it lands, etc. I have a few glow discs so I could theoretically play a round if the need arises.
I played Maple Hill today, and boy, the wind was a kick in the pants.lol, glow golf is fun, but can be tricky. I like to practice putting in the dark, I don't use glow just feel. No lights on just use the light from the moon. And after doing this for a couple weeks I noticed a complete 180 on my putting. I have heard a few pros talk about putting in the dark also.
Over 30 Discs added to the website so far today! Make you check out the description! Thank you for all the love and support!

I have actually seen someone with a custom bracket they made to attach a leaf blower haha

Yea Florida is not the place to blindly walk in the woods haha!
That birdie on 4 was absolutely dimed 🤙 great content! Let's go!
We all get lucky sometimes ! Thank you

Thank you so much for the kind words! I really appreciate it
Gotta light up the baskets. Glow is fun…. Only thing I think it improves is matching depth perception with muscle memory
That's a fair statement. Can focus on that muscle memory a bit more!

Yea I've definitely seen people leave old glow stuff on baskets! Not the best
I wore my brand new Tossing Plastic t-shirt to USDGC this past weekend. Super easy to order and it came within a few days.
Thats so awesome you rocked it there! Thank you so much!

Yes Hundson is amazing but Bald mountain is the best by far !!!!!
@shaunamad7223 it looks like a stellar course
Guess I have some research to do haha!

Great video! I think you should keep sending the cart! I have heard recently that glow rounds lead to sticks to the eye.

I throw my day glow wraith a lot in the woods but I've had my same discs forever and do not plan to rotate it!

I play very rarely but enjoy it occasionally. My friend is still recovering
I'm not sure if glow improves your game but for some reason I throw a LOT better lol! Great skip shot on 6 😀 this is another great course review!
Dude next time you are in the area let us know!!! I got a group that would play
Always scoping for them when I am there!

huh! That is super interesting ! Maybe i will try that!
For some reason I usually play better during a glow round. I also play better in bad weather as long as it's not windy. Lol.
I have a friend who is the same way! Better when they can't see the trees haha
Never tried glow disc golf but if I can't see the trees they aren't there right? I don't have any glow discs either
You still see when your disc bounces off haha
at least you dont see the tree when you play glow discgolf !
You still hear them haha!
I like glow rounds. But bakets must be lit up. Glow rounds definitely don't improve my game. They are just fun.
That's how i feel! It's just fun!
Shot my highest rated round here 1026😊
Well that's awesome !
Disc golf is much easier with leaves off of the trees, or is it?
That's a great question. I say easier but it sure is less pretty. And so much easier to lose a disc in the fallen leaves.
I'd much rather play with leaves on. I can't stand constantly looking for discs in the fairway
Why are you playing some holes from the short position?
Because people use my videos to prep for tournaments and most play the shorts! When I only filmed longs people wanted some shorts
home course here, can’t beat it!
Amazing home course there!
This course trained Luke Taylor. This course kicks my butt. Smarter man than I
Flip City is the #1 disc golf course in Michigan without a doubt?
The title is referring to parks. Usually more than one course! That's why it doesn't say best disc golf course !
