Absolutely. I see Rover as a symbol of Mankind's fear of the unknown and a representation of the Moon. When the rocket is launched to explore the unknown, Rover is destroyed! The greatest TV series ever made - and no one can hold a candle to Patrick McGoohan. He turned the role of Bond down three times (Cary Grant was the first choice but could only do one movie) and suggested Sean Connery after working with him on the excellent movie 'Hell Drivers' (1957) Moore was insanely jealous of him.
One will either love it or hate it.. I love it.
Awesome. Every time I see this it's awesome.
Best TV finale ever made.
Be seeing you
