Here is a quick little video to help you change out your weak or dead battery in your Chrysler Pacifica key fob. This specific fob is out of a 2018 Pacific with keysense. All you need is your new / fresh battery and a small flat head screwdriver is helpful. I hope you found this video helpful!

Mine lasted 3 years and 2 months. I expect that’s about the average battery life span: 2.5-3.5 years.

Just changed mine with these instructions. I didn’t get a red light for the first handful of presses but within a dozen I guess it “rebooted” and the rd light and functions started working. Don’t despair if it doesn’t work as fast as it did in this video.

EZ Peazy - good instructions. FOB is well designed for easy battery replacement, but it is not highly intuitive. KFR's instructions make it easy to proceed with confidence, knowing I could get the job done and while not damaging the key fob while opening it up.

Will the fob still be synced to the vehicle after doing this, or does it have to be reprogrammed?
If you're just changing the battery it won't need reprogrammed
