This is the exact calculation I had done while buying the Endeavour (Everest in Australia), Endeavour in Australia in all review video is usually compared with the Toyota LC and not as much with the Fortuner, plus the price parity with India was better for Endeavour
That's called = "Ache Din"
Forget Foreign cars, Tata Safari Prices just doubled in 6 years. Storme was priced at 12.5 lakhs for mid variant EX model, the same mid variant model of New Safari cost 26.49 lacs on the road..
One can verify on their own.
Ismein tata company ki galti nhi humari govt. Nein hi aisa tax system bana rakha hai ki price Aasmaan chu jaata hai jaise ki harrier mein 28%gst+22%cess to khud dekh lo govt itna tax charge karti hai upar se fir registration tax
Tax bhut jayada hai....phir road tax etc ..... besides they charged toll tax...I don't know why ?
People talking as if hiluxes are sold around Rs 22L in india after discounts. Even after discounts it still sits at Rs30L min. If Indians had so much spending power we would've seen miatas,350z,gr86 and abarth 1241 in every street.
Is bande ko purchasing power parity nhi pata...hudd ignorant insaan hai
You are wrong . My standard Hilux did cost me 22 lakhs
Which dealership
Full bakar......means if u can afford a Hilux doesn't mean every one or everyone want to. He is also now into mainframe chapari type videomakers. I genuinely liked his content, but yeh Hilux par ho gayan pel rahe hai.....humein nai chaiye bhai....
Hilux is the undispited king of 4×4. Here in Borneo, we still use 20 year old Hiluxes (D4D) and spares are no issue. The top spec retails at RM 170,000. Around Rs.10 lakh with the active safety features. Thanks for the great comparison.
I purchased tata xenon 8 yrs back. In 7.5lc. 3.0 turbo with surplus raw power. Happy with my purchase
Govt of Bhart wants cars used in India to be manufactured in India, Importe duty on cars in India are mainly dependent on how they are produced like complete know down kits(Jeeps), semi know down kits(JLR) or imported like LC. Like u talked abt wrangler, it's price reduced significantly last yr after the started assembling complete know down kits in India, compared to LC which just imports it, due to which high taxes.
It's government of India not Bharat
Even BHARAT spelling is wrong 😅
Government of India : English Name
Bharat Sarkar : Hindi Name
BKL respect your country!
Corrupt countries have high taxation and duties increasing the price considerably.
Countries which want to grow their own economy and increase employment have very high taxes
Putting everything on corruption is idiotic

You are right brother people are crazy here in Australia for hilux
Wow he is a pure offroading and car intellectual. No fanboysism, only facts. 🎉
Awesome informative and useful video bro! Thanks for addressing my question ! 🙏
We love your channel and you also. As a Himachali we love brave person , like you .
Really thoughtful content, thnx bhai
Genuine information. Only from DCV
Interesting. Very nicely done.
We do not have Hilux in US, However we have the Toyota Tacoma (sibling of Hilux) with some differences. Hilux has higher pay load capacity, while Tacoma has higher towing capacity at this level. Of course we have Ford, Chevy, GMC, Toyota Tundra which are all much bigger.
USA pickup truck revenue is $74 billion compared to 1 billion sales in Australia. We have 45,00,000 pickup Trucks in just Texas state, compared to 550,000 in entire Australia. In fact USA sells more pickup trucks than the entire World pickup market.
I do applaud that you bought Hilux, and it is a very very nice truck. Of course, if you are doing a price comparison then, you can compare to Thailand, Philippines, and Australia. I think that I saw most Hilux in Philippines. Seemed like every other pickup truck was a Hilux.
Thanks

I have Hyundai Venue SX turbo 2020 manual and want to upgrade to AT tyres and its weak suspension.
Please advise the best garage to get it done and is it worth spending on Venue. I love to drive on hills and mild off-roading there. Stock tyres fail on snow.

Hi. Can you please tell which canopy have you installed?
Just wanted to share my experience of new THAR 2023 - I purchased in May 2023, its diesel BSIV 2nd stage variant. The vehicle is super refined, absolutely no wind sound comming inside, super refined 4 seats, terrific pickup, nice brakes. At the speed of 130 its super refined with no sound of wind. Its my sweetest baby.
BSIV? It should be BSVI I guess.
@@whitesierrateam-bhp1269 sorry by mistake, actually we are not in habit of Roman figures

You guys are so lucky in India, in Bangladesh this top spec hilux is sold for almost 1 crore bdt which is almost 75lacs INR 😢
The question is, How far the stock spare parts in country would sustain if the hilux is discontinued, and what would be the future of hilux? What if one of those pully from drive belt gets damaged? Will you still call it unbreakable ?
Thank you 🙏
This unbreakable thing is overhyped. This is also a vehicle and can have issues. But seeing how Ford is handling their customers, I don't think Hilux will have any issues ever in regards of maintenance, even if it goes out of sales.
Also, I will like to point out that all those cars mentioned comes with Active Safety features here in Australia. Fortuner is way overpriced, one could buy a Prado for same price. Toyota don't have ford to compete with there in India. Ford ranger/endeavour is a far better product for personal users.
Nevertheless, I really want for Hilux to stay as it will open a new category in India therefore, attracting other manufacturers to come in.
Cheers
Actually, Aussi spec SR5 doesn’t get bedliner and strut damping as standard while Indian version does. There differences will be there for sure with each vehicle depending upon county.
@@DCVExpeditions true that and I agree with you Hilux is worth the price if discounts taken into account. I hope lifestyle vehicle segments expands in coming future. We’re evolving as an economy rapidly and thanks for influencers like yourself to spread awareness and promote functionality over aesthetics. Oh my god It’s a cringe to watch 20-22 inch wheels with million inch lift kits on off-roader.😂
amazing explanation sir ❤

Hi Dinesh,
While I already own a Hilux, someone told me that if Toyota continues with Hilux in India, they will start manufacturing it in India which might not have the same quality as the one being offered right now. Thoughts ?
I don’t think they can localise it more than Fortuner which is their cash cow. 6-7k Fortuners are sold each month and that too without any discount compared to Hilux which sells around 250 per month. But let’s see what happens.
@@DCVExpeditions I am also interested in a drive with you over the weekend if thats ok with you. I am based out of Gurgaon and Dehradun and I will be more than happy to host you whenever you visit Dehradun since you already have a place in Delhi NCR :D

@@DCVExpeditionshi Dinesh, which mode are you driving Hilux in the mountains? Is that eco or the 'no mode' when both eco and power is turned off. Thank you in advance.

Good video
Bad part of pickup is resale value
Isuzu vc 2022 you can get in 18-22 lac
I would wait for a mild diesel hybrid version of Hilux
After cold start issue sir will be like
Thar petrol lene thi yaar 😂
sir compare it with same segment cars in India not with same car prices of different country. Because in india hilux is competing with other pickup trucks available in Indian markets.
how much you got from toyota to pormot it
Bhaisaab aapka face bahut cute hai aapko dekh kar maja aa jata hai 😀
I think scorpio truck bijt competitive price mei Anewala h..
@Dinesh. Missing your daily vlogs. Where is Hilux going to be tested.
Nice
- Do you think new Gurkha 5 door is worth buying or We should go for Hilux. ???
In Nepal it cost NPR. 1 crore 42 lakhs almost INR 89 lakhs 🥲 and the fortuner costs more then Npr 2 crore almost more then INR 1 crore 50 lakh
Bhai tour kb krr rhe ho....... Bhut din holiye bhai
Considering the utility of utility vehicles, I still prefer Fortuner, the baby LC for all purpose vehicle even if it seems to be pricier than Hilux.
Nice video❤
What about isuzu dmax v cross?
Lord of automobile vlogging
Isuzu ??? Always gives the closest competitor in truck segment in Australia

😂😂😂
If company discontinues hilux, parts nhi milenge and resale value drop hogi
Most parts are common with Fortuner and Thailand bhara pda hai Hilux k cheap parts ka. Secondly, Toyota will never create problem for customers considering Hilux’s reputation. Aaj tak Ford walon ko problem nhi ho rhi even after Ford left India.
Toyota should give you one free Hilux just for this video!😎
😂
Shi me yar.
He already get very cheap price for himself.
Hilux failing in India speaks volumes of indias car culture.
Bhai aaj kal pta nhi kya problem hai, notification hi nhi aati 🤔
Hello Dinesh bhai, where 10 lakhs deal is coming in Hilux ? I will buy immediately with Noida registration. Can you reply me here quickly?
I am too interested to know, couldn’t find any thing more than 5 lacs

Bhai 35 lakh ki pickuo kon lega .... India me jayda usecase nhi h esi gadiyo ka .. even i going to buy Fortuner rather than Hilux
I already have ford endeavour you think this is better?
If that is still in good health and you want more comfort, keep Endeavour. If you want a travel vehicle which needs to carry lot of stuff, you can switch if you find a good deal.
@@DCVExpeditions Yeah just done 1L on my beast endy in 4.5 years.. It never had even a minor issue till date.. Might keep it for a few more years then.. thanks
@@RajTravelogueswoah! That's quite good travelling in 4yrs.
Toyota is giving discount on Hilux and small discount on Fortuner, because in 2024 they will be introducing Hybrid+Diesel technology...

@@akashgupta-qj1dm i know when Dinesh ji says cheapest hilux ,he doesnt understand vcross was the pioneer in this and with AP registration, cherry on top, a full blown MT 4*4 in under 13 lakh, hilux can never beat this.
Good only for offriding
Not good for City travel.
I beg to differ. Compare with Isuzu MUX
How and why did you get 16s in Hilux sunce you chose 17s as more future ready and dint it create any issue in Hilux ?
All 16” rims can’t fit Hilux. I am keeping the 17” option for 33” tires if I go for lift at later stage.
What if import lc 300 from Australia to India
What will be the price
Same
How old are you?
How much discount is going on
10 LAKH
Bad government prices have led to nice cars like hilux being priced high in india. India has been napping since independence and did not allow the development of the auto market

World’s best companies are making top class stuff for Hilux already.
Dont feel like buying Diesel cars anymore due to 10 yr Delhi NCR rule....koi resale nahi reh jati after 10 yrs....petrol maie launch karwa do pls Hilux ko...😂

Hi brother, I am 22 yrs old.....I follow your videos you do really unique things and its something i also want to do.....i really like Thar.....can u tell what can i do to earn that much money to afford a thar.....it would really help if u can suggest something
Keep making yourself better each day. Thar is not that hard to achieve for middle class people like us after some years of hardwork.
This is simply promotion of Hilux sales if you can understand the marketing tricks .
I am a Senior Manager in IT with 13+ yoe and ppp is not at all logical . I make 40 lpa india and if I have to move to australia will get roughly 130-150k , if I simply convert aud to INR the Australian salary will look quite lucrative but there are so many variables like taxes, setting up home and which will only reap benefits in long duration of > 5 years of stay . Similarly Hilux use case is again that of a glorified pick up , since i hails from Himachal and have 3 pick up in my own family , bolero pickup cost 10-11 lakh is much more capable with huge weights carrying capacity. Simply comparing prices with australia is not at all logically. There vehicle market is much more matured and spare parts and after service is way way ahead

Too steep for the payoff. Today Nexxon is BEST. Value for money.😊😊😊😊
Bahrain sarkar import duty levy is very high but landcruiser will never be made in India neither will hilux
In Pakistan LC 300 cost 11 crore
11 crore paki rupees equals 3.10 crore INR, so that's not a huge difference
