    I started my channel to encourage people to lift weights and use planners. You would think that I would have a dedicated planner for the gym. I don't. I have been experimenting with different planners. Right now I'm using the notes pages of last year's Hobonichi Weeks. I think the Weeks is a good health planner. I also like the A6 Hobonichi Techo for that. In June, I will probably use my redated Happy Planner.

    I love the idea of adding in a face and musing column to check in with your feelings. Also, I think we need “Cat laughs” compilation video; impossible not to smile when I hear your laugh, it’s pure joy! 🥰🥰🥰

    Omg, your handwriting should be a font!! I love it. I may have missed it, but do you write down your meals of what you had that day or is what you plan to have that day? I need to do some sort of meal tracker in my planner, because when I'm not sure what to cook or eat - that's where the danger shows up!! I just got that book about Intuitive Eating because I find the concept so interesting. You also do a great job of talking/narrating through the videos!! Thanks for sharing.

    • @planningcalm
      @planningcalm  ปีที่แล้ว

      You’re the sweetest! Thank you for your kind words. My meal planning is still evolving. I’m trying to repair my relationship with food after years of binge eating. I try to plan out my meals ahead of time and adjust my foods if I add a skip or skip a meal because I’m not hungry. It’s a work in progress, but planning ahead has helped with grocery shopping. Thanks for being here😊💗

    I see those Andes mints (seven months later) and have zero judgment :)
    This year I have one planner for food and exercise as well as one for language learning because it became abundantly clear that I can't fit all of those into a single planner. I opted for the Take a Note weekly for the language stuff and then the Sunny Weekly (from Iroha) for food and exercise. We'll see how it works but I'm hoping it ends up being sustainable.

    • @planningcalm
      @planningcalm  ปีที่แล้ว

      Excellent! I like your strategy. Sounds like you have a great system that works for you. And yes, those Andes were mighty tasty. Good eye my friend!😉

    • @planningcalm
      @planningcalm  ปีที่แล้ว

      A habit tracker is a great idea! When I need to switch things up in the future I will give that method a try. Thanks for watching Sis🥰

    • @tyresseferguson2462
      @tyresseferguson2462 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Planning Calm I have the habit tracker calendar from Clever Fox. I have it hung on the wall in my living room that leads to the hallway. This way, I see it every day even if i don't open my planner that day.

  • @stephanieplansandreads

    The discussion of intuitive eating and fasting is interesting. I also practice IE as recovery for an ED but I feel as if fasting would be against that if it was a pre-determined set time rather than an intuitive, 'I'm not hungry so I'll wait to eat until I am'. This is just my opinion though. i don't have a fitness/food planner because that isn't healthy for me but I liked seeing how you use your weeks. I can't get into the weeks as much as I have my cousin but when i see how nice yours looks, I want to!

    • @planningcalm
      @planningcalm  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for your insights. This was a suggestion from a dietician I saw last year and thought I’d give it a try. I try not complicate things and do more IE than fasting as my disclaimer indicates. I agree with you on the Weeks. I struggled to find a use for it and this food journal has been the best thing yet. I much prefer my cousin to the my weeks as well. Enjoy your day!😊
