Life is so expensive lately, so making things new again is such a blessing. I love the google sheet spreadsheet you have. I am a homeschool mom so I can understand finding the right planner being a bit challenging and expensive.

Hi fellow Canadian! Love your content! Thank you for making me happy I never bought one of those cups. Ridiculous. Stanley brand has been around for so long and then one day they painted it pink and boom! Every girl on planet earth had to have it. I wanted it too…luckily I waste my money on extra planners and justify my planner purchases by being frugal in other ways. I already have too many planners for 2025 and planners are still coming but I can’t make up my mind. Why do I do this to myself every year? Oh well…maybe next year I will have found planner peace and just order one❤. God bless you and keep filming!

Hi Cat! It's funny but I am not a perfectionist with anything in my life - EXCEPT for writing and planning. Perhaps it is because I went to Catholic elementary school where we would have a whole hour a day to practice our writing. I am forever pulling pages out because I do not like that my handwriting looks "awful". Also, in recent months I have found myself not grabbing my planners because I keep trying fit in ones that are clearly not working. I figure it's just something wrong with me and I continue to push to fit in. (if that makes sense). I found your channel last week when I needed an easier way to plan and found your 50 cent notebook planner and since than my view of planning has changed. I love the fact I can have a planner where I can plan, and journal. Journalling has always been a great way to help in my mental health journay however I lost track of that because there was always too many things to keep up with. Thank you for having such a calming way to your channel.

I sooo wanted to enjoy the Passionate Penny Pincher Planner and I’m actually hopping back in to it for q4 just to see if I can make it work! But I won’t buy one for 2025 either 1. The font for the dates is too small I can’t immediately glance at the weekly and see what day is what 2. The habit tracker had things I didn’t need and would never need 😂 I was just whiting out some lines and adding in my own every week that is cumbersome 3.Not much margin for decorating. I’m a washi kinda girl but sis used every inch of that page 😂😂 sticker whereeeee? 4. (This is not on the PPP) I moved from vertical planning for 3 years and switched to this horizontal. My brain is confused by this 😂

I still haven’t figured out what works best for me as far as planning. I have severe adhd with a touch of autism so I have to have all the things as well as all sorts of ideas but I never follow thru with them. I’m a mental health tech in a behavioral health unit at a hospital & I am also a college student at the age of 48 (what was I thinking 😂)

I only buy notebooks from happy planner if they have a big sale just so I have new covers & discs. I bought all of the happy planner layouts on Etsy and I just print out what I want when I want it & I make my own stickers to re-date & decorate.

I’ve had to remember that it is a question of stewardship with that Lord.

I'm on a low buy this year with stationery items and a few other categories. I'm not planning on changing much for 2025 except eliminating my budget planner and bringing that info into my main planner.

I was lucky to find a couple happy planners for $5 because they were outdated so I snagged them knowing full well I can redate them when I need them! I love the happy planner disc system customizability, it’s so nice being able to add and re-arrange as needed! I would 100% love to see an office tour! You are amazing ! I have old outdated planners from my teaching days . Some full, some outdated and unused. I’m taking Retired Teacher Enrichment Classes from September to June . I can repurpose my Teacher Planners and use them for the upcoming class season- for notes, assignments, contacts … Thank you for the ideas ❤❤

Hi, Cat! Oh yes, life is doing it's thing and sometimes it's not pretty! I used to use the Happy Planner and it was my favorite printed planner and honestly I have considered using a Happy Planner Mini for 2025. Like you, I have the cover, discs, punch and etc. It is still a possibility for 2025, but I've also really enjoyed using the A5 dot grid notebook I've been using in 2024. The advantage that HP has over other planners is the ability to move stuff around. I didn't spend any money on planning in 2024 and don't plan on anything before 2025, so I have a small budget of $25 set aside for planning next year. I just want to spend it wisely. Wonderful Cat! Great use of what you already have. I always made my own teacher planner when I taught elementary because it always changed and was so messy! I'm not paying good money for messy notes LOL. I'd love to see an office tour! Good luck with the school year :)

I love this planner! I have been using notebooks for my journaling, and then trying a planner, and it's all just too much. I need one - and then maybe an easy no frill notebook planner. I have to look into this one - because I never heard of it. Thanks for another great video!

This is what I needed. I used to be a planner nerd but life got busy and I felt as if I was being silly decorating the planner. I then kept everything in my head - not something I would advise. So I found a cute notebook I had and searched on YT for using a notebook as a planner and found this video. THANK YOU! So - I am a lister nerd, and a pen nerd.

Wise advice given here. Thank you for sharing. It seems many/most of us struggled this past year with planner peace. I tried many as well and the only one that I stayed true to is a random cousin dupe I found on Amazon. Now, I can’t find the same planner for 2025.

I’m watching this in September, so summer is over, and I’m getting into the Fall mode. Although you have anxiety (and I do, too) watching your videos is relaxing to me. I’m a new subscriber and catching up on some of the ones I have missed.

I’m a retired teacher, and the traditional teacher planner has become part of my DNA over the years. It’s the way I think, and my personal planner (in a spiral notebook) is set up that way - vertical, with days across great top and time blocks down the left side. Guess I’m a creature of habit!

After using A5 Rings or Discs for 35 years, now that I am an Empty Nester close to retirement, I have been itching to downsize and simplify! I have stopped purchasing printed planners because I actually enjoy creating my own layouts (very simple ones), so I don't have pages I won't use. Also, much cheaper! I am going to use a blank A6 notebook in 2025, for portability, and then keep a Personal Rings for lists, trackers, projects etc. so I can have the flexibility to move things around, add, subtract, decorate, etc. My A6 is more minimalist/functional with only month-at-a-glance calendars followed by weeklies with just a few pages at the front for reference info. I still love looking at all of the planners, but I am committed to my DIY set-up! I am impressed by all the different brands and how thoughtfully designed they are. Such great ideas and variety to suit every possible need! Thanks for sharing your insights--content like this really helps me to clarify what I truly need!

I feel you, I changed planner 7 times this year 🫣 I learned a lot about myself 😁 I'm also Canadian so the shipping on any planner related item is horrendous 😢 l ended by ordering a Just Scribble A6 horizontal. I feel good about it 😊

I felt the same way about the Cousin. I got the B6 Owl Paper and it is perfect for me. It’s a great size and it’s very minimal with undated daily pages.
