Blood is basically your HP bar for any injuries other than to your heart or brain. If your blood meter gets too low, you go into a coma, which is why others can revive you with a blood bag. It's because they are refilling your blood meter to a point where you can act on your own again. Bleeding will deplete your blood meter rapidly, which is why bleeding statuses are super important to take care of first, even before broken bones or pain. You can restore your own blood meter with a blood bag, and if you are not currently bleeding, you will restore blood slowly over time. Large blood bags have two uses, small blood bags have 1 use, and both will restore 500 mL of blood to your blood meter and can help hold off going into a coma. One other thing to note is that you can heal a teammate's injuries if they are in a coma. This is important to do so they don't wake up from your blood bag usage and then immediately bleed out and slip back into a coma again, which wastes the charge on the blood bag. Also, each bandage can heal a certain number of wounds. For example, gauze can heal two small bleeds, and bandages can heal three small bleeds, if I'm remembering correctly.
To use your items with quick action buttons, G - for grenades, H - for healing, P - For provisions, they need to be in an equipment that has the little thunder icon. Usually vest, belt and pockets. Having them there allows you to use them on your mates when they are in the coma. Handshake on lvl 2 has a tactical belt with 3 slots, so you can have the QRkit with Surkit and Blood and a CT inside belt. Then bandages in your pockets. That will allow to use those items on your team mates when they are in coma.
Nice vid also to use the meds you can scroll through meds in your inventory that isn’t in your bag or secure pouch by holding H and scrolling through them and then pressing H on the med that you scroll to
