    Hello Mr.Duncan, these words are so peculiar indeed...beginning with the pronunciation which I tend to follow this one, they're...with a more pronunced Schwa, there....with a long e and their with a long e too and sometimes I put an intrusive r sound at the end, it depends.
    Then as I've just mentioned, the final r sound that can appeare if we use a following word which begin with a vowel.
    I hope to be on the right path with the use of these words and their pronunciation, if not let me know please.
