Normally when speaking do people drop the ခဲ့တယ် at the end if the time period at the start of the sentence is in the past tense form?
Like the example you used....
လွန်ခဲ့တဲ့ဆက်နှစ်တုန်းက သူနဲ့စတွေခဲ့တယ်
Would most just say
လွန်ခဲ့တဲ့ဆက်နှစ်တုန်းက သူနဲ့စတွေတယ်

You are welocme! Yes we say both. We drop ခဲ့ often. As long as the context is clear and the listener is aware that we are talking about the past, we can drop ခဲ့. Also time indicators like “Ten years ago” does the job for indicating the tense.

@@buildupburmese Would love a explaination on how to use မှာ when using 1. at the end of a sentence ​with (verb + မှာပါ) (I hope...) 2. future negative tense ( verb + မှာ မဟုတ်ဘူး) 3. with particles ပေါ့ /ပါ/ပဲ at the end of sentences eg. -မှာပေါ့
