At the start, oversimplified accidentally replaced Canada's flag with America's flag.

it was not accidental it was a joke about the fact that americans are ignorant and forget they were helped by other nations

9:40 Interestingly, at Stalingrad, the Germans also lost because of their reliance on their allies.
While the German 6th Army did the hardest work and fought in Stalingrad itself, its flanks were protected by the allied armies: Italian, Hungarian and Romanian.
These allied armies were in every respect much weaker than the German and Soviet armies, so when the USSR in their offensive operations attacked the German flanks to encircle and cut off the German army in Stalingrad, they completely destroyed the weaker Italian, Hungarian and Romanian armies and effectively surrounded the Germans.

I am glad you are able to finish out the 2 part series. As with Part 1, Oversimplified gets a number of things wrong, some small and some large. I will just make note of a few things that you commented on, so you will be better able to find the truth yourself.
A small thing they got wrong was about Pykrete in that it was not a dumb idea to build floating bases, it just turned out not to be as easy an idea as they originally thought it was going to be, and by the time they had finished all the preliminary research, the Mid Atlantic Air Gap had already been closed with escort carriers and very long range patrol aircraft.
Oversimplified is also quite a bit off about Turing...he did not break the Enigma code, that was done by others...what Turing did was to help make the early electro mechanical computers called "Bombes" much better and faster at decoding Enigma messages. The machines had originally been made by the Poles, who were the first to crack Enigma, IIRC, but Turing and his team made the machines much faster, and linked them together. He was an early pioneer of electronic computers to be sure, and that is why you remember him for that.
You wondered why Bitchler declared war on the US, and the number one reason was because he needed to attack the American ships that were delivering war material to England ever since the Lend Lease act went into effect in early-ish 1941. Once US ships were traveling to England, war between the US and Germany was inevitable, and there was actually an undeclared War in the Atlantic between the US Navy and German U-Boats that started in the summer of 1941. The first US warship sunk by a U-Boat was the USS Reuben James, and when she went down on Halloween night in 1941, the US had a legal cause to declared war on Germany...FDR was waiting for something bigger to happen, and he got it in December.
Quite a few other errors from Oversimplified, such as they call Nimitz a General instead of an Admiral, and the Emperor of Japan announced the surrender on August 15...it was September when the official treaty ending the war was signed. Oversimplified is also off the mark when they say that the US had any real "choice" but to use the atomic bomb on Japan...especially when you consider how much had gone into making them, and how terrified much of the US leadership was of how many people would be killed in an invasion of Japan.

@@creature2479 These dates are declared years after they happen. Nobody in 1939 thought a world war had started in 1939. It was incorrectly declared to be so in 1945, completely ignoring China in 1937.

Decidedly, the most terrible conflict in human history. I’m actually now 80 yrs old. A Jewish American born in 1943! If I had been born in Ukraine, where my maternal grandparents came from, I probably would not have lived to see this day. 🇺🇸🇬🇧🏳️‍🌈

Little fun fact.. Germany did not start ww2. Just hear me out.
It was Churchill with his intervention in German policy. The Austrian painter said numerous times that he didn't wanted a war against France and Britain.. Vice versa.. He loved the British and their empire.. His only goal was the east. So why intervene in such a war? After all.. France and the UK declared war on Germany not the other way around. The myth that the Austrian Painter wanted to conquer the world is just that.. A myth. One must just look a little bit deeper with common sense.. The allies were also not the good guys. Don't get me wrong.. I'm not defending Nazi crimes but just telling some history facts. The allies wanted to destroy not only the Nazis but also the German population. After 1945 there was no "Liberation" Germans were starved and killed till 1949.. The allies had no intention of rebuilding Germany.. Only when the Soviet union was the new enemy.. They rebuild Germany as a puppet state. The British lost everything in this war.. They fought against a man who loved them.. For a man who hated them and the British empire. Roosevelt said many times that he hated the British and their world empire.
After France had fallen.. The Austrian painter wanted to make peace with the British and offered them many many unbelievable great treaty's.. Like in one treaty.. Which said that he would *immediately* send troops to help the British empire if they would be ever attacked.. Or a treaty that said that the Germans will leave any conquered territory that was not German land.
Every peace treaty was not accepted.. Because Churchill got paid from many cooperations that wanted Germany to lose everything because the third Reich was not under their capitalist world. The same cooperations and Elites that now control the UK and Europe. Look at Europe and Britain today.. It took the British people centuries to build their empire.. So much lives and blood.. After ww2 the British like Europe were just the puppet of the Americans.
If you want to learn more.. Check out this video.. It's from a channel named "Zoomer Historian" he is also British.
