My horse also loved to jump, and it's true as you say, they do love their jobs!!! and you can feel it when they love something... You can see that Flicker really is having so much fun and she trust you! Beautiful!!! So Beautiful!!!
She definitely loves her job, particularly jumping! She’s not afraid to tell me when she finds something dull 🤣
Flicka was such a star. You could tell she loved the jumps, her ears were forward and she was zooming! It’s lovely to see you always give her a pat and tell her how clever she is ❤😊

You are a true athlete! Seeing the exercise from the top of the horse really gives you a true idea of the epic control you have to have to accomplish your art. She did such a great job too! ❤

Well done, Alex and Flicka! How wonderful that she is so eager and loves her work. Loved all the different perspectives. What a gorgeous facility. So nice you have somewhere like that to train. That V jump (don’t know the official name) looked a bit scary. Thanks so much for sharing. Makes complete sense that you’d want the horse to learn to sort their own legs out and not always have to tell them where to take off. My instructor was saying the same thing in my last lesson but we were only trotting poles. 😂 I would love you to share lots of horsey content on your channel. It is a huge part of your life so is authentic to you and authenticity matters so much. Plus you are in your element! Love it! Thanks, Alex. 😊❤

Good Morning from little me in the Yara Valley, where I live its horse heaven, as I live right next to the Warburton trail I see horses all the time ,and certain times of the year here they have the horse shows and from my bedroom window can hear everything so close .I think its so cool that you do this .This is funny when child I called horses hobby and still do love seeing them, well its Sunday tradition to annoy the husband lol and today giving him the Christmas Present thing poor man lol well as always really loved your video its amazing to see you ride a horses one day will brave it and try time for coffee Hugs xoxo

I’m allergic to horses so I’m not at all knowledgeable about them that said they absolutely fascinate me there are 3 at the bottom of my garden,they are beautiful to watch, it really amazes me how horse and rider work together, so thank you for this wonderful vlog with flicka.

Lovely jumping !❤ This might be a stupid question, but do you talk to her while you are jumping? Do riders talk to their horses who commands or encouragement?
Yes I’m very vocal as it also helps me to remember to breathe (I have a bad habit of holding my breath jumping which tires me quicker!). With the wind and music you can’t hear me on this video but there’s lots of ‘good girl’, ‘sorry darling’ if I don’t get her to the jump in the best spot for take off haha and ‘steeeaaady’ if she’s getting too fast. They’re not necessarily commands on their own but they back up the commands I’m giving with my body. You’ll notice when I’m riding her ears constantly switching from being forward to back so she can listen for me. 🥰
