HI, I wanted to ask do you think it is possible for some one who finished college with a Level 3 IT national extended diploma and took a gap year and is now doing a IT and networking course can be accepted for a solicitor apprenticeships or did you need to have done certain things in college/sixth form? And if so do you think I should mass apply or only apply to certain firms when the applications are opened? Thanks luv the vids!

Hello! Glad you find the videos helpful!
I honestly have no idea about applying except without A Levels & GCSEs, because that’s what I’ve applied with.
I think it depends on the level of apprenticeship you’re applying for. For example, when I applied for my first apprenticeship, I had my GCSEs and then at the end of that I had the chance to progress in another apprenticeship in the same company and by that time I had a level 3 qualification as well. So maybe you apply for a paralegal apprenticeship then work your way into a solicitor apprentice; there may even be one connected to the same firm.
You might have to play it by ear or contact the relevant department at a company and ask. It unlikely that all companies want the same thing because they’re quite different.
If you want to apply there’s no harm in doing so if that’s what you want because it’s good practice in any case. You could become better with each application. Worst case scenario they say no or reject your application and best case you get an apprenticeship. The application process can be lengthy depending on where you apply.
      Sorry that wasn’t much help!!

@@apprenticeishno worries thanks for replying I’ll have a go when applications open because I saw some of them say a level equivalent so I’ll see if they accept. Thanks again.
