hey man great video, i think ive seen you on north campus before last year (i lived in archer). My buddy and i started this channel to do skit-type videos/vlogs at OSU. we should totally get together in the fall to make some content (informational, funny, skit...etc) i think it would be fun!
JMontage well I've been in college for two years and I'm a bit worried about the transfer process at OSU. I've read that it's more difficult to get housing on campus. I'm sure it's all in how many freshmen are entering but that's my biggest worry. That and scholarships and financial aid. If you have any advice on that I would greatly appreciate it!
Jess D OSU doesn't guarantee housing for transfer students, nor do they guarantee housing for upperclassmen haha. Lots of off-campus housing available to rent. If you want to drive you, obviously, have more options. If you don't, look at the COTA (Central Ohio Transit Authority) bus routes and see if you can get something with a bus that goes near OSU. Best advice would be to contact housing and it doesn't hurt to submit an application.
I asked my good friend who transferred a year and a half ago about this. He said that there's nothing to worry about. He also said that "OSU konws that you don't know anyone, and will work with you to find housing and what not". Then he said that scholarships and financial aid are the same process as your last school, but just with Ohio State. I'm no expert in any of this, but I hope that helps a little. PenquinZ has some good insight as well. Sounds like you'll just need to make an effort one way or another.
