I believe there was a missed opportunity like Cole interrogated Jack in Manifest Destiny but in A Polite Invitation would've been cool Jack interrogating Cole.
Phelps in game being a "super" detective, he may realize his accusation is fruitless so he does seem apathetic about it. Jack being a man of grit, willing to push some buttons, will back out of lying but still holds a bad cop attitude to pressure the suspect.
Man, I was really hoping for a sequel featuring Jack as the lead with another deuteragonist. Jack was much more of the 'hardboiled' style private eye that noir fiction is known for. Cole was more the 'Joe Friday-esque' Dragnet-style police procedural kind of detective, which isn't really a noir standard.
Eh, I think Kelso is a really memorable character despite being present in only 3 cases because he contrast well with Cole and by the time you get to play him, the game turbo speeds the "Noire" part of the title. It's pretty nice that we get to play what essentially was a Noir film by the end even if it was fleeting.
Rockstar better not forget about this masterpiece, just because of the problems with crunch, this game really needs and deserves another game (forgive me but I forgot the name of the studio that was shut down that helped make the game)
I want Jake Kelso in Squeal as a main detective we play as... I know the story will be not be about "L.A. Noire" anymore and it will become a fictional story but still.
Yeah that would be nice but I don't see why they wouldn't be able to base certain cases and characters on real people, events and movies from the time period just like they did in L.A. Noire.
@@americangangster1911 Yeah, exactly! To me, the perfect L.A. Noire sequel is set in Miami in the 1980s. Saying it now, it sounds pretty much like Vice City, but I think they could totally do something unique with it. Like, we play as a young, ambitious cop who thinks that he can take down the Mexican cartel in the city, and the whole drug enterprise of the criminal underworld, but as he continues on with his investigations, he realizes that it's an impossible task, and then something something something (just spitballing ideas).
@@fedoramafioso6245 You're not far off, Los Santos is based in California, so it would be nice that Miami would be the next installment of Noire, or maybe Chicago???
So I don't fear rejection in social interactions or even with making moves, I'll often reply with "if you don't ask, you never find out" 9/10 times they can't argue with that
nah. Cole's delivery is natural. he sounds like a veteran detective who has years of experience in interrogations and very smooth at conversations. while Jack sounds like someone who is very genuine and straight forward but also a bit awkward at conversations.. I think this was a nice detail by the devs to show just how different these two were in their work ethics
I get the feeling like Cole teaches Jack how to behave in a interrogation
Vice versa
I believe there was a missed opportunity like Cole interrogated Jack in Manifest Destiny but in A Polite Invitation would've been cool Jack interrogating Cole.
Jack doesn't sound like he's sorry at all, more contemptuous in his apologies compared to Cole.
That's how you know he's DA material.

Yeah sure you're sorry Jack 😂
I love the way when if you accuse them but you apologize for it but still can accuse them in anyway. xD
Cole: Learned it by heart.
Jack: Reading from a piece of paper.
"lol jk"

Wharubee got?
Who wants a sequel with Jack as the main character?
As long as it includes Jack putting a bullet in Roy, and saying "That's for Cole."
Me
Fuck yes, Jack Kelso or a new character i don’t give a fuck I just want La Noire 2
If Team Bondi was still around we would totally get a sequel

Probably.

@@NoNo-st9bb thank you 🙏
Or at least make the 2 desks that were cut from the game (burglary and fraud) and put them out as dlc
Crunch isn't a thing when you're passionate about what you're working on...
That's cute for the details
what's cute
@@MyFunnyGuy11
I mean the detail they put in this game
Consider the fact as Jack you don't need the accuse option but they put it in anyways
Cole looks more touching and realistic, human like, Jack acts here like the Terminator.
Even insurance agents are more heartless in their interrogations compared to actual police detectives.

So you’re telling me that the two actors were given the same interrogation script during the making of the interrogations
such a good game

Good Cop vs Bad Cop
Jack is a little more believable, cole just seems too robotic
isn't it the other way around?
@@ZzSlumberzZ Agreed
I think the Cole's stance and the delivery comes off more natural than Jack.

Cole wins this
Jack is the worst character in the game...
for me, it is courtney shelton. kelso is fine in the story tbh
