Great job, I've been watching all the episodes the last 3/4 days, and it's amazing what you've done and what is still remaining. Incredible effort, and looks great. Keep on doing, don't run to much, take your time, those details and little things are essential for the final result of your job. Just one thing, don't trust to much on such a plastic strips. Now they're fine, but shortly won't do their job. Thanks for sharing and keep on doing. 👏🏼👏🏼👍🏼
Oh, those wires are mounted down with metal hold downs also. The plastic zip ties are just to bunch them up a little better. If those fail, the hold downs still keep them away from everything.
Pay close attention to the grounding points on your conversion. Use the factory ground points when possible - because the HMMWV/H1 frame is bolted together, you can't just ground out to the frame without causing galvanic corrosion. A lot of work went into figuring out where the best grounding points are. Looks great!
I have not grounded anything to the frame myself. Motor is grounded directly to battery. Wire harness grounded to body and motor or a direct post that goes to the battery ground post. Thanks for the heads up tho; I didn't explain the grounding very well in the video. This would be useful info for people doing the swap.
As I stated once, it is all the little things that take up so much time. I can feel your desire to drive it soon, but take your time to do it right, rather than have to do it over! :-)
If you look up on TH-cam (Split Builds) Hummer rebuild and go to video Part 17 installing new seats you will see them installed also a couple videos later he installs a jump seat by corbeau in between the two rear seats as well, check it out as awesome as a job as you have done these seats are exactly what you need to look stock and professional. Also it would allow you to put seat adjustment sliders on your driver's seat. They are waterproof and come in pairs
I'm sorry, I'm not sure if autocorrect got a hold of your message or if I'm just not reading it right. Which part are talking about? Sometimes mixing metals isn't good and other times it isn't as bad depending on a few things.

Thank you! Yeah, I'm not going to rush it. I would rather get it done right than get it done fast. Which plastic strips do you mean?
@@tossthewrench the ones used to keep wires on place or together....one you said still need to cut....
Awesome job 👌🏼

Looking good! For me unfortunately I'm now caught up to you on your videos!

G'day I am all caught up now. You have a great channel mate and love the build.

With these seats there is plenty of room in bit the front and the back they are the same dimensions as the original Hummer seats
I just hate it when I have to adjust my dipstick!
Hey buddy shouldn't your space replay to be done it made out of aluminum. Because metal and aluminum don't mix

@@tossthewrench maybe some part of a relay, he is talking about??
Mixing metals is bad only if they are in water all the time, due to galvanic corrosion.
