Just to clarify, I’ve gotten a whole lot of comments talking about the “making sure you can’t die” thing saying it’s wrong. The thing is, I wanted to run through the whole “DONT do this” and “DONT do that” shtick the whole way through. Before I say that, I also say that “here’s something you SHOULDNT do,” before stating that. Essentially, the double negative means this: don’t make a character that is unkillable in every aspect, because it makes it boring. Thanks, and I hope you liked it! :D EDIT: Also yes, I made a typo with the “seriosly” thing, grow up people jeez lmao

Tbh, an animator that has total knowledge over animating like myself, think that this is one of the most accurate information into making something good while in an animation career, I do sound exaggerately stupid right now to people who seem un interested in what I am saying, but dang. I say this is good. The reason is, mostly all the sn animators out there are always make effortless non Funny content to youtube, Which is annoyinf because they get more attention than mostly all the good animators. They take over half the popularity in the animating community but people do not actually know that they do not make an utterly good not even decent animating content, which is unfair to most hard working animators that actually takr their time in making a good animation. I very doubtly hope this particular video will go mainstream for People to know the truth about how unfair it is to most effort working animators. That is all.

4:26, bonus rule, if you want to make the fight as good as possible, dont make it so as one figure hits the other one all the time and the other one misses all his attacks. Make it seem more dynamic by having both figures land blows, also, dont rely to much on hits that are too powerful. Dont just have a figure do incredibly powerful punches all the time. Instead, make both figures do BOTH light and powerful punches. Make the light ones quicker, and make the reaction of the other figure less, hence, it is a light punch. And if you are going for a more powerful punch, make it a little slower. Put some more emphasis on the punch, make it go back a bit before striking the other figure. Also, have the two figures block or dodge attacks from time to time. But not too often. And finally, work on the poses. Try doing a punch pose and study it, then try to replicate that pose into your figures. Make the the poses look dynamic, if not, how your animation looks will look kind of, weird.
