Hey Alfie, loved the setup, thanks for sharing! Was looking for any thoughts you have on a drawing tablet for visual effects work (primarily compositing inside of After Effects, but some work in Blender as well.) Always have been on the fence, but would love to hear what you think about one!
Thank you! All major VFX studios seem to use them rather than a mouse. Especially for 2D. All the compositors where I work use them. I think it makes more sense for nuke with the node graph than it does for after effects. But if you're doing lots of paint work like I often am for cleanup etc then a tablet is far superior to a mouse!
off topic, but is there a way to change the color space of multiple textures at once? This is the biggest problem with Blender aces and I don't want to manually change the color space of 400 objects from ACES to RGB Linear. And if possible, will you be able to add this function to your addon?
Not that I'm aware of. I've tried various things to make it easier and the best I've found is the shortened list I made. Unfortunately I can't make that feature. I don't know any coding to be able to do that
I don't find it to be much of an issue to be honest. I've thought about upgrading a few times but whenever I consider doing it I don't think I'd see much benefit
