    Going through one of the hardest times of my life right now, heartbroken, and the night time is when the pain gets the worst. This meditation is helping me fall asleep, if not only for an hour or so at a time, but I have to atleast be grateful for that.

    Went to very tired bed at 10pm. Brain Still wide awake at 3.30 in the morning. Went downstairs and tried every track I have. At 5 am, eyes burning, brain heavy and aching for sleep I remembered your track. Next thing its 8.30.Three and a half hours sleep might not seem a lot but as other insomniacs know, its a life saver. Thank you-thank you -thank you.

    I did this meditation the other night and gonna do it again tonight. Just before I had woken up I had panicked about the time thinking I overslept so I wanted to know the time. I literally saw the time in my mind before I even opened my eyes. And I kid you not it was that exact time I had seen the exact time on my watch when I opened my eyes and in my mind before I even checked. The meditation was finished a while ago I’m guessing from the time I started the meditation/nap so there’s no logical reason why I should have known the time. That is crazy to me.

    I love Jason Stephenson’s meditations but I’ve been struggling with worsening insomnia and this just had me thinking more. I was wide awake right to the end. I’m not sure I get the philosophy behind yoga nidra. Certainly it stops me thinking about the day, but this was kind of more things to do...

    Just managed to listed to the full track. Length is perfect. Enough time in the deep silent state to implant some affirmations. I usually like to 'hear' a voice repeating my affirmations while the words appear on the blank screen of my closed eyes. I start with ' every word you hear and see takes you deeper than the word you seen and heard before' Great track, perfect in timing and length. Will use it in my regular meditations.     This is crazy. I used to do Yoga Nidra years ago and decided to start again. What do I find ? My favourite guy has done a hypnosis session on the very subject. Thank you Universe and Thank you Jason for all you work and dedication.

    Thank you for this video Jason, it works so well for me, I drift in and out of sleep while it is playing but can quickly refocus on your voice. I manage a good nights sleep but best of all when I wake in the morning I don't feel the grogginess that has plagued me for years.

    I have to say, this is my favourite guided meditation video I've ever come across. I also like your other Nidra 32-point one but this is by far the best. I've recommended it to a lot of people & shared it to people who claim they have sleep problems.
    One guy I told who I gym with had a cool moment, he said he became body locked & had a light in the middle of his head that just expanded, sounded like a bit of a DMT trip/lucid dream type experience to me.
    I've listened to this to go to sleep almost every single night for probably nearing 2 years now & it makes me sleep with ease when I want to, or I can follow it & stay awake near the end.
    I would love a guided nidra version for the intention of being awake after & not falling asleep.. just to see what I am capable of
    I've never had any lucid dream moments as of yet. I did follow another guided nidra once too which actually gave a premonition-like moment where a woman walked into my doorway really fast & then began to speak just as my girlfriend spoke in real life & woke me up, perfectly timed as though my dream state knew she was about come in & talk (not knowing I was meditating) - it was a lot cooler than I can make it sound from typing

    I absolutely love your meditations. Although I can’t sleep on my back. It becomes impossible for me to fall asleep this way. I don’t know why but my body won’t allow it.

      Same for me but i find if i enter the intermediate state between being awake and sleeping while lying on my back then slowly move to my favourite sleeping position (lying on my left side) then its really easy to drift off, hope this helps!

    I've been following you for a while. I really like your voice its soothing. Recently I looked up NSDR. This video was in the list and I like your videos so I thought I'd give it a try. My first time going through this I still had a hard time concentrating on the number and the body part. My mind would wander and I would forget to do the deep breath. I'm sure over time as I keep coming back to this trying it again and again I should get better at it.. thank you.. I appreciate you and what you do. ❤

    I tried to do this but I felt it was to fast, my breaths weren't finished by the time you were going to the next number. Was unable to relax unfortunately. But there's loads of your other videos I love

    Damn irritating when an ad plays in between the guided meditation. Once a person gets into relaxation state can't expect one to get up and simply skip ad

      I just couldn´t finish it to the end! He was rushing ,,it" to much and it is rare to find a fully relaxing yoga nidra version, unfortunately. At least I can say that I liked the start! He was starting real smooth.

    I've always really loved Jason's videos but the music is just too quiet and his mic audio is always too loud. I want to enjoy these meditations for sleep, they're such great quality, but the way he edits his videos makes that nearly impossible for me.

    I don't really properly meditate, but your stuff gives my mind something to think about without overthinking (the bane of my sleep schedule). You are so calming and perfect!
    You can be talking gibberish for all it matters, but your voice is so relaxing. I'm going to try to do a proper meditation at one point. (Do you do not sleeping ones?)

Yoga Nidra is a yogoc meditation practice that is not hypnosis. I feel it's an important distinction- and therefore, important to advertise the video correctly, not as a Yoga Nidra

    After listening to this meditation I was in very weird and frankly, awful headspace. I almost fell asleep multiple times but tried to keep conscious until the 61 count. As soon as the 61 count hit I wasn't tired anymore. I felt like I was in that in-between stage mentioned. Over the next few hours, I felt like I was in a dream state. I would lose awareness of myself and when it came back my mind was trying to create a formula for sleep it was very odd. One time I became aware and was sitting on the edge of my bed gazing at the floor and I felt this intense anxiety. I don't remember sitting up or how long I was like this. I don't know for sure if it's even related, can anyone tell me if it's possible that it's related? Could I have hypnotized my self and been unable to leave that state? It just seems like a pretty crazy coincidence considering that had never happened to me before.

      same thing happened to me almost like i was having sleep paralysis in that in between stage. knew i was awake but couldnt move, never happened to me before either. weird man

    We were taught this during Sadhguru's Isha Hatha Yoga Program. It's actually called Shushanti meditation. But it's only to relax, but to sleep. U r supposed to be aware during the meditation. Hope it's not being misused.

    I've used this before and it's been helpful but I just had an ad play in the middle of the video and snap me right back to wakefulness. If you're able you should edit the ad placement to just the beginning.

    I was hopeful, but like many others felt this was too fast paced. Trying to keep up with the breathing gave me anxiety. Also it skips the face entirely, and after 61 points felt my face was still very tense.
    Not for me unfortunately

      I agree with these comments. My relaxed breathing is at a much slower pace, about 12-15 seconds per cycle. And yes, other yoga nidras give special attention to the face and I find this very effective.

    This would be great if there were less words. Just a number and a body part will do the trick. No need to tell me to inhale and exhale and focus every single time. I thought "surely it will stop with all the words soon" but it kept going. If you did another pared back version I'd be a loyal listener!!

      Hi! I think it so because it is sync on the breath. It could be a challenge to slow it down more, you might be out of breath if you want to complete so many cycles.

    The pace of this is waaaay too fast. The opposite of relaxing. I wonder if the maker has let himself by guided by it to see how it feels?

    Really wish you wouldn't count, it engages my left brain too much. So disappointing, because you have a wonderful voice. I just can't get past that progression of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, etc.

    why are there audio ads on a meditation. i turned it off. super annoying. you should only use visual ads.

    Would have been really good if not for the adverts interrupting it. One cannot successfully do a yoga nidra when the flow is broken by a stupid ad!

    I understand need top profit, put ads at beginning. Having a smart phone, I am not able to purchase your tracks as iTunes only works on basic feature phones. As yoga nidra for sleep is impossible when an ad screams at you on the middle, I am unsubscribing to look for a better channel.

      Yes. Yoga Nidra is also a body scan.

      Jeannine L no it’s not. It starts with rotation of consciousness which is a rapid body scan but it also involves visualization and sensation of opposite feelings. Body scan is a body scan. Body scan is ok unless it is presented as yoga nidra. Although telling parts of the body to relax probably is not relaxing or just telling someone to relax could be a relaxation technique.

      @@andyoconnor3977 Ok. Maybe just chill out and try the body scan, or whatever form of relaxation you like. It's really not worth debating over here. I made my comment because many Yoga Nidras I've seen & read about, usually include some kind of a body scan to illicit relaxation. I don't claim to know everything about it. I'm sure there's much I don't know.

    it was to quick for me. Woke me up more than put me to sllep. With all the other sleep meditations i fall asleep straight away but not with this one.
