Even weirder than Winona not aging is that the Cake twins go through like 5 Christmases together and are still somehow infants until the time skip.
To be fair, the Cake twins are eventually shown without diapers, so some kind of progress is implied.

@@foxanardHonestly, my headcanon is that ponies can’t die of old age and only die from diseases, accidents, pretty much anything but old age. It would really explain the finale. Plus, they were like middle aged in the finale so they probably do age slower. Also, I think dragons age even slower because Spike has been a baby dragon since Twilight was a foal. And when Twilight was like I’m guessing 1,000 years old in the finale, he still looked pretty young
Sadly the iconic Ponyville Liquor Store is going out of business since its supplier Sweet Apple Acres switched from producing cider to juice.

Clearly Littleshy hasn't seen the iconic vine where the guy tests whether a banana peel is slippery like it is in the cartoons.

Mythbusters also tested banana peels and they came to the conclusion that they are not very slippery and slipping on one requires a smooth enough surface but walking on one on a normal surface doesn't have much effect.

1:27 The "You are good" was for Sweetie Belle predicting Zipporwhill's arrival so accurately that she opened the door the second Zipporwhill was about to open it herself. The real sin is that she's wasting her psychic abilities on cheap gags when that's Pinkie Pie's shtick.
A real waste of pinkie’s powers will be her dragging a pony from out of literal nowhere which means she has trans-dimensional powers

On the topic of the Cutie Mark Crusaders growing up, I always wondered why they didn't update their models to the "teenager" form we see sometimes. In the last couple seasons it started getting kinda weird that the CMC still look like fillies, despite years having past in-universe and in real life.
I wonder why they didn’t use the the tot pony design for the younger ponies.

Just watch a bit of G5 and you will be cured. It did wonders for me and my Pony obsession. Then again, my TH-cam feed still reminds me semi-regularly why I used to be in love with MLP, so...maybe I am still hooked.

"The Iconic Ponyville Volcano" is such a classic sight.
"Forever Filly" is one of my favorite Rarity and CMC episodes!
I know Rarity and Sweetie Belle are sisters, But to me personally the way Rarity was crying in the beginning of the episode felt like the same way a mother would cry over missing her child, But that's just how I see it but would anyone else probably not.
And it was good to see Zipporwhill again since she first appeared in "Filli Vanilli"
As for Sweetie Belle I admire how much she's grown as a character in the series, It may be hard for siblings to do what they used to do but it's still possible for them to find new things to do together. Speaking of which I always loved the part where they did the photo shoot Sweetie Belle looked absolutely adorable in that sheep costume!
So Sweetie Belle's favorite part of a puppet show is when Celestia talks like a robot.

4:58 that actually brings up some pretty interesting points, such as:
1-is that supposed to be a metaphor for the fact that even though you're specialized in something, sometimes you still need help from others?
2-that because she is a filly, despite having 3 paws as a cutie mark, she still doesn't have enough experience with pets, therefore this being more as a matter of experience instead of a "cutie mark talent"?
3-the creators butchering their own concepts and ideas?
Not to beat a dead horse, but Rarity convincing that "retired" ice cream shop owner to return to the apparently always there Ponyville Ice Cream shop just to serve Sweetie Belle a sundae was a Sunday that was slipperier than any cartoon banana peel.

I found this series again recently and I still love it although I don't watch my little pony anymore. I'm gonna be sad once you cover all the episodes.
This episode made me cry the first time I saw it
The sad thing is, most of the pets got sidelined and never got an episode having to do with them outside of a few scenes, unless their name was Angel Bunny.

I completely forgot about this episode. Probably because I knew what the conclusion was when the problem was introduced. I was honestly thinking the B-plot with the dog was going to go somewhere, but then they revealed that it was the same lesson twice, and my brain shut off.

I noticed another sin: at 20:10 of the episode, the stick in Rarity's mane magically grows so that it can be a decent size for the dog
i find it strange how applebloom and scootaloo think that tiny pink toy, which is about the size of two pebbles, would even fit in the dog's mouth. he would probably choke on it if he tried to play with it and nopony seemed to notice.

An episode about siblings. Always loved those. But one sin i must forever place is Rarity's voice. Where did that come from? Their parents don't sound anything like that. In fact, the parents sound like Manehattenites. Unless... Rarity picked it up in school, or she lets out her real voice secretly.
