About a week ago I found my Wii from 2009 when I was looking through some old shit. I plugged her in and she turned on straight away, after not touching it for maybe 7 years. I spent hours playing. Mario Kart Wii and probably Wii Sports were my favourite games. They still are. I guess in life we all grow old. Even things that aren’t human. I hate the Switch. I mean its ok but it will never defeats what the Wii did. It will never carry the same feeling the Wii did for us. I’m disgusted that Nintendo took away all the online privileges for the Wii. I love how Nintendo always thinks outside the box !! Their systems and games are classic fun not trying to compete with real life graphics and simulators. They just stick to classic family style gaming and it works!

Now, as a grown man workin' a part-time job, I kinda wish I could go back to being somewhat of a game nerd that wants to be in a room, with a nice entertainment centre that can hold as much gaming systems I want to mount 'em on, and collect every video game that I've been wanting to have since my dayz as a young buck.

I still remember the first time I played this in 4th grade after playing getting my WII coming straight off the GameCube playing Mario Kart double dash nonstop. And now I’m turning 20 in September. Time flys by faster than I ever could have imagined it. I miss being a Child

This was my game back then 😭 I was so happy with this Mario Kart and never knew how amazing it was until I now realized much older. Nah man I'm getting on a time machine and going back at playing this game 😂😭✋

for some reason when i was little, when i selected the disc channel after the system read the mario kart wii disc, i got scared by the "MARIO KART WII!" voice line
