Love watching some of these rare bombers flying.
I don't play this game, so please excuse my ignorance. I notice you're landing on Iwo Jima. Does this game have any sort of time compression, or do you have to actually sit there in front of your PC monitor for hours and hours on the trip from mainland Japan to Iwo...or even worse...from Saipan to Japan?
Nah, I actually just overheated the engines until some died near the island and went in for landing. We sometimes do full scale 5h bombing raids, though :D

Man IL2 1946 was the best game I played just bc of its planes and its graphics

I think it was just landing on rough terrain, not a runway like most of the others
Any chance of a B-29 raid over Japan? Not a whole Tokyo Pony Club ride but it would be great to see.
Technically, I already did such a video. I was thinking about doing another one with the guys, for more realistic fighter attacks.

Except if they developed some mod to alllow this.
They have. With mods, it has been flyable for a decade or so.

Is this game still nice to watch and nice to play? i want a new WWII game but the newest IL-2 is so expensive. and DCS is about modern jets...

There's a sale right now for the new series at their homepage. Not expensive at all.
Rodrigo D Madruga DCS is way more expensive the the new IL2.....

Sambot88 the new il2, il2 great battles is basically an expensive version of this but the interface, graphics, physics and sounds are way better. I have 200 hours on the new il2 and haven’t encountered (apart from 1 or 2 glitches) a single big yet. It does not disappoint, but it is just a little too expensive.
