Great video, I was here just this weekend with my Story inflatable Kayak 👍😎 Was extremely busy being the end of summer but was still nice. Looking forward to going out during quieter times! Would love to see more kayaking videos 😜
Great little section! Used to like going down to Wroxham for breakfast in the old mill, then a pint and lunch in the rising sun on the way back. Cheers Rob.
It's a cracking section Paul. I did think about Wroxham but couldn't do with the stress of holiday makers 😂 a lot busier than the rivers in Scotland. I hope you are well mate. Rob
Lovely stretch of river there, peaceful and unabused, the stretch upstream of Horstead is even better imho...no goons in powered boats😉 and some more “whitewater” if you venture far enough!! Suggest a rigid sit on top for true glide and paddle-ability...they definitely outclass inflatables long term, great as fishing platforms, depends on how often you plan on paddling though as there’s a cost/gear/storage implication. It’s pronounced beeler 👍
It was very peaceful mate, haha thank you for the ture way to pronounce beeler. The issue I have at the moment is storage mate so an inflatable is perfect for me as space is limited. The upper stretch is where I got my puncture. I launched from Mayton Bridge from the concrete slip, thanks for watching episodes 3 and 4 have been planned with more to come In the future 😀
It nearly was, but as the ice-cream van wasn't there so there was no reason to stop. That book is a cracker mate, so pleased I bought it. I will be in touch in the next few days about our adventure. Thanks for watching J, really appreciate it mate
We've just purchased our river license for the year so hopefully will be doing a decent amount of Kayaking this summer having not been for over 2 years now.. Hoping to launch from here over the weekend if we can get parked.. Looks like a nice stretch of river for novices like us lol. Thanks for sharing your adventure 😀
Great one mate, river looked so tranquil. Hope to join you soon. I’ve sold my Colorado, managed to get £50 more than I paid for it. The seat was just too bad on my back, so I’m investing in something with a thwart, something Canadian. Stay safe. Hardy
Thanks buddy. One of my next adventures is your way, horsey to be precise 😁 that's great to hear, I know what you mean about the seats. Luckily when I'm on my own I take a full backpack which I stuff behind my seat for support, either that or the misses sits behind and acts like my bag lol. Thanks for watching mate.
Loved that the water looks beautiful I’m definitely heading that way for a kayak camp I would love any recommendations you have for down there , love the kayak I really struggled to make my choice plastic or inflatable I think I made the right choice based on I crash a lot so I would have sank a inflatable by now , keep up the good work stay safe 😎👌⛺️
There are lots of hidden holes mate where you cam pitch up a tent. I would recommend here or upstream form here as day boats can't get up there, it's also a lot quieter, thanks for watching mate. Rob
What a lovely morning. It's so nice at this time of year to be able to just sit and listen to the birds. If you have a Lidl local to you they had anti uv tops in a wk or so ago (outdoor swimming tops) they are equivelent to factor 50, weirdly the mens ones are black!?! A lot more comfy and a lot less messy than cream tho
Gorgeous day for it Rob that water is like a mirror 👌
I enjoyed this paddle in July - caught out by a thunderstorm resulting in an inch of standing water in my kayak:-)
Some amazing trees along the river.
It is an amazing stretch, shame about the thunderstorm mate. Thanks for watching. I really appreciate it 😁

Thanks for sharing
Ash
Thanks mate. It was lovely and quiet. No swimming this time but the duck shorts may be out again soon, thanks for watching bud
If the first stop was by the Kings Head pub then I totally recognise it 😄🗺📍I literally feel like a local now 😊. Brilliant vid!
Flipping ek, I have that same book 😄😜

@@RJOutdoors just be careful if your next adventure takes you brograve way, lots of submerged barbed wire around landing spots at the mill. Hardy
Thanks for the heads up Hardy.

@@RJOutdoors oh wow, I have that problem with factor 50 mate. Ahh the joys of being ginger eh lol.
Don't normally watch blokes emptying their sack while pumping an inflatable
You do now 😂 cheers nobby 👊
Km not miles you burk
This was 2 years ago 😂😂 are you missing me that much that you have to watch my old videos? 😂😂
@RJOutdoors 2 years ago Is like your most recent... 😆. I was watching kayak videos and yours came out....
@hazzard outdoors probably was one of my last lol. I may return one day. Who knows?
