How to Install Pull-Down Roller Screens from INTUS Windows

Learn how to install INTUS Windows' pull-down roller screens for our awning windows. These sleek screens are operated with pull handles and match the interior finish color. The screen is fixated with retainers located in the product's guide rails. A spring mechanism makes raising the screen easy. Raising and lowering the screen is effortless and looks clean and simplistic in any position.
TOOLS NEEDED
■ Drill
■ 2 Drill Bits (1/8in. & 3/16 in.)
■ Pencil
■ Ruler
■ Screwdriver
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
OPTION 1
1. Measure placement of the screen sides: BOTTOM : 1/4 in. (6.4 mm), SIDE: 3/4 in. (18.5 mm)
2. Pre-Drill pilot holes into window profile framing using two drill sizes (1/8 in. & 3/16 in.)
3. Screw in screws into pilot holes , then place caps over holes
4. Insert the pull-down screen cassette into the top opening
OPTION 1
1. Measure placement of the screen sides: BOTTOM : 1/4 in. (6.4 mm), SIDE: 3/4 in. (18.5 mm)
2. Pre-Drill only bottom pilot holes using two drill sizes (1/8 in. & 3/16 in.) for both screen sides and screw in screws
3. Adjust the top of the screen sides, then insert pull-down screen cassette into the top opening.
3. Drill top pilot holes in the screen sides using two drill sizes (1/8 in. & 3/16 in.)
4. Screw in screws and place caps into holes.
