My biggest issue with United meals is that its almost always lacks any flavor and is tasteless. I understand that food usually tastes a little bland in an airplane but the United food is just tasteless and bad quality. My golden rule for any airline meal is if i would order it again and I have not had a single instance of this in my 4 Polaris flights i have taken so far. In contrast, a Jet Blue Mint transatlantic flight had a fantastic meal which i would order again due to its flavors, taste, and quality. Here's hoping that United can straighten its act in the food department. Even their CCO admitted last year that they need to do a better job (Source: www.thestreet.com/travel/united-airlines-food-getting-better). On the bright side, their Sundae carts are back :) Thank you for your comment!
If i recall correctly, they did not provide any mattress pads unless you ask for it and that too only available on certain long haul flights. They provided 2 blankets for good comfort! Thanks for your comment and please don't forget to subscribe! 🙂

You can also ask the FA to warm the cooking. It taste better warm. They will serve cold cookies.

One of the issue is United Vegetarian dish is never good. The food did get better but not Vegetarian meal.
That's so true! Their vegetarian food is always bad! Hopefully it gets better in future!

the amenity kit seems old. dont they give therabody amenity kit now?
Yes, you are correct! The amenity kit is Away branded from last year. United started using Therabody kits from late last year. Nice observation!
