What a reward to find the very clip I had seen originally! Thank you so much for posting. I was brought up on the Bing Crosby and Bix Beiderbeck version so knew the song well already.
I remember this song on the JH dvd I had circa 2002. It's hard to believe this was once the world and we are at where we are at now in 2022. I suppose 20 years is a long time but time has flown. Be nice to go back.

The song was written by Fred Fisher in the 1920's (recorded by Paul Whiteman Orchestra in 1928), and the full title is "There Ain't No Sweet Man That's Worth the Salt of My Tears".
so heartbroken to learn now of Norma Waterson's death back in January... I enjoyed all the Waterson's music and was lucky to catch Norma, Martin and Liza in a town hall concert a few years back in the U.S....and the others in concert here as well at various performances through the past few years (and decades).
norma sang this on her first solo album, but there's an even better acapella version by her and eliza, that long remained unreleased until it saw the light of day in 2004 on a watersons' four disc career retrospective box set.
And a few weeks later I find myself back here to say RIP Norma. Much loved never forgotten🎶🎷♥️
