After dozens of accusations of toxic and abusive behavior from former staff on her show, an Australian radio host is sharing another story of strange behavior from Ellen. Neil Breen was the executive producer of a morning show, and booked Ellen as a guest in 2013. I never liked Ellen’s vibe or interviewing style. She cuts guests off when they’re trying to speak. She always has that wide, doe-eyed expression almost to the point of looking bewildered while interviewing, then she stammers constantly. She used to seem fun and likeable, now she acts like royalty.
but she is really calm with johnny Depp, unlike a lot of other talk show hosts that, kind of rush him because after all, he is just as introverted as anyone can be

I noticed that too, I miss early - mid 2000's Ellen. Back then they weren't booking A-listers like that and there was a down to earth vibe from Ellen and the show. Now because she's booking the big names, has the Kardashians on speed dial, she thinks she's the queen of Hollywood.
I've never liked her interviewing style for the same reasons you mentioned. Never understood the appeal of her show.

I’ve always felt like she’s a wolf in sheep’s clothing. I personally think she is miserable. Don’t think she truly enjoys interviewing people but she does it for the $$$.

Honestly everyone who is saying she's fake and mean isn't that big of a fan. She donates to so many charities, she helps so many people, she just wants everyone to be nice.
