Siskel & Ebert Blind Date (1987) At Those Movies

Surprise! Surprise! Gene is overly critical of this Bruce Willis Kim Basinger romp. Roger doesn't go so far as to raise his thumb but he does say there are at least 4-5 uproarious laughs. Then Gene & Roger fight over how many total laughs there are and so their review goes lower and lower than practically ever before. I would say this movie was funny but in Mar 87 I was stuck wearing a gas mask on a SE Turkey military base, where every Thursday was "Military Exercise Day". No, I'm not bitter but I sure missed Kim Basinger's beauty that year!
