That the current artist not only plays with such feeling, consummate musicianship and evident scholarship, but also built this fabulous instrument is inspiring as well as amazing and a cause for great humility.
What a beautiful idea to play the end of the prelude on the upper manual! Very nice! Thank you! Will you give a new masterclass in the future? Greetings from Bonn!
And beneath those "strings of ornaments" you express the most beautiful melodies and harmonies. I do remember your love and playing of french music during summer Trondheim festival way back when. I loved hearing it then as I do now. What a wonderful listen this morning. Thank you KH.
A very beautiful recording and at a low pitch similar to St Maximin. I'm curious about the modifications to the meantone at St Maximin. Where is it possible to read about the temperament? And what was the concept behind the meantone modification?
Thank you so much, dear Tom!! Coming from you means a lot indeed!! And - you were the first 'credibly appreciating' person to see the instrument... some fifty years ago!!

What to add. The truth and beauty of the music and the sublime interpretation speak for themselves.
I love this recording so much!
